About me and my therapy practice

I am a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor, accredited with both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Following my training in Psychology, I completed the prestigious BACP-accredited Master's programme in Counselling and Psychotherapy at Keele University. I work with adults, children, couples, and families.

I have accumulated over a thousand hours of clinical experience working directly with clients, supporting individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. I have also spent a number of years working in clinical management roles, where I have supervised and overseen other clinicians, ensuring the delivery of safe, ethical, and effective therapy. This experience informs my work and allows me to bring both clinical depth and strong professional standards into my practice. To ensure safe and ethical practice, I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, hold an enhanced DBS check, have completed nationally recognised Level 4 safeguarding training, and am fully insured.

I have worked extensively with low mood and depression, anxiety and panic, trauma and abuse, stress, bereavement, relationship and family difficulties, autism, ADHD, and low self-esteem. I have also completed additional training in trauma-informed work, chronic illness, and inner child approaches. If there is something you would like support with that is not listed here, you are very welcome to get in touch.

I am recognised by several insurance providers, including AXA Health, WPA, Vitality, Cigna, and Aviva. If you would like your therapy sessions to be covered by your insurance, please check with your provider regarding your eligibility, available cover, and any pre-authorisation requirements.

Practice description

I offer a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of effective therapy, providing a safe and trusting environment in which you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

As an integrative and person-centred therapist, rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and techniques to support your personal growth and wellbeing. These may include inner child work, mindfulness and meditation practices, narrative therapy, and creative methods such as art therapy interventions where appropriate.

I work with experiencing a range of challenges, including anxiety, stress, low mood, self-esteem difficulties, relationship issues, life transitions, grief, loss, and emotional overwhelm. Whether you are facing a specific difficulty or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, therapy can offer valuable opportunities for reflection, healing, and change.

I offer both remote sessions and home visits, providing flexibility and accessibility for those who may feel more comfortable engaging in therapy within their own environment. I currently have availability for new clients and offer appointments during the morning, afternoon, and evening to accommodate a variety of schedules and commitments.

There is no obligation to commit to a fixed number of sessions. Some clients benefit from short-term, focused support, while others find longer-term therapeutic work more beneficial. We will regularly review your progress and work collaboratively to ensure therapy continues to meet your needs.
