Hello and welcome.

I hope you enjoy this reading and I am looking forward to hear from you.

I am Sandra Stein, an MBACP registered, Humanistic Gestalt Integrative Counsellor Therapist for Individuals and Couples, Therapy Group Facilitator and Author.  Extensive experience in Solution Focused Approach, CBT and Embodied Therapy.

With the rise of social media, living costs and unemployment life has become an experience full of anxiety, sadness, loneliness, low self-esteem, compulsive behaviour (addiction) and so on.

Forging relationships has become a painful and scary task in this era of perfectionism, competition and unrealistic expectations for one another.

These are some of the cycles and struggles I will help you to process. I aim to help you understand yourself more deeply and I will teach you tools to live a more peaceful and in control life experience. Boosting your self-confidence, creativity and happiness.

Therapy is also about your need to make sense of your thoughts and feelings about a particular situation, including decision-making and relationships by speaking with someone who will not judge you or press expectations upon you.

I also have extensive experience working with Addiction (substances, sex, food, gambling) and Eating Disorders at The Priory Hospital North London, I was privileged and still am to help people gain control of themselves and find that they can exercise choices in life.

Having specialized in Trauma through the Oxford University Master Series you will find in our work what you need to deal with the symptoms of Anxiety, Depression, Addiction, low self-esteem and other mental and emotional struggles.

For most people, Therapy is an unknown field which is why the first sensations you will have in my sessions are freedom, encouragement, acceptance, empowerment and safety to be vulnerable more intimately.

I want to know what you need help with.

WHAT IT FEELS LIKE TO WORK WITH ME

Many people have sat with therapists who listened — but left feeling unheard. If that's been your experience, this may feel different.

In our sessions you will feel:

— A real dialogue — not a monologue into silence. I am present, responsive, and genuinely engaged with what you bring.

— Genuine curiosity about what lies beneath — the parts you can't quite name or explain yet.

— More than heard — gently challenged, guided, and given real tools to practise change in your life, not just in the room.

— A quality of connection that is attuned, unhurried, and entirely focused on you. Not on a method. Not on a checklist. On you.

This is what my clients tell me they didn't know therapy could feel like — until it did.

Practice description

Hello, well done for being here

You may not fit neatly into a box — and you may never have and that is good.

Perhaps your mind works differently to those around you. Perhaps you carry anxiety that hums quietly in the background of everything, or questions about who you are and what your life means that feel too big to say out loud. Perhaps something happened, and part of you is still carrying it.

Whatever brings you here, you don't have to explain yourself first. You just have to arrive.

WHO I WORK WITH

I work with a genuinely diverse range of people — including neurodivergent individuals, those living with anxiety, depression or low self-worth, people navigating existential questions and life transitions, trauma survivors, and clients from minority and marginalised communities including BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and immigrant backgrounds.

What unites the people I work with isn't a diagnosis or a label. It's a readiness — however tentative — to understand themselves more deeply and to live with more freedom, peace, and self-compassion.

MY APPROACH

My approach is integrative, drawing on Humanistic Gestalt therapy, trauma-informed practice, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Embodied Therapy. In plain terms: I don't follow a rigid script. I follow you.

I am particularly attuned to working with neurodivergent clients — people whose minds process the world differently, who may have spent years masking, misunderstood, or exhausted by environments that weren't built for them. In our work together, your way of thinking is not a problem to be fixed. It is something we work with and from.

My practice is multicultural and identity-informed. I want to understand every layer of who you are — where you come from, what you carry from your family system, how your background shapes the way you see yourself and the world.

About me and my therapy practice

Welcome to my safe and confidential space.

I am Sandra Stein, an MBACP registered, Humanistic Gestalt Integrative Counsellor Therapist for Individuals and Couples, Therapy Group Facilitator and Author.

First, before you go ahead and read about my credentials and experience. I believe that a good connection and feeling at ease are the most important aspects of transformative therapy results. I offer a 20-minute chat free of charge so we can see how we connect.

My clients are from all walks of life and they seek my help for diverse reasons. I work with clients who suffer from depression, anxiety, body issues, and loss ( divorce, job, change of lifestyle...) as well as clients who are interested in knowing themselves more profoundly and equipping themselves with more self-wisdom.

People suffering from addiction ( alcohol, porn co-dependency, drugs, shopping and so), want to regain self-control of themselves and lead a healthier and happier life. Immigrants and international families that struggle to settle in a new culture and groups of minority (LGBTQ+, victims of domestic violence...)

We will do it together

I will hold your hand through your process of self-discovery, conquering the autonomy in finding out that you have options in how to experience painful changes in life and how to filter the world to your best well-being.

I am also committed to assisting people with body or self-image issues. I have had my challenges in this area and I bring great passion to my clients towards understanding and overcoming their self-critical voice.

I have a special bond with working with minority group members. My clients from victims of abuse (violence, emotional, neglect), BIPOC group, LGBT+, immigrants, men and so on, were inspired to be passionate about diversity and inclusion. Also, on how to be a counsellor that offers a tailored and attuned approach to each person and their background.

I invite you to drop me an email and discuss how we can work together.

Practice description

My approach is multicultural-informed, which means I am interested in every layer and part you feel makes up your self-identity. Such as:

Where do you come from? What beliefs have you internalized?

How was your experience at school growing up? Did you feel included?

What do you carry from your family system? Did you feel that you could not be your true self?

It can be hard to reach out for help when we feel lost, depressed and hopeless.

Do you feel depressed and can`t make sense of your feelings?

Are you struggling to cope with strong emotions?

Are you searching for a way out of repetitive self-sabotage behaviours?

Counselling is about a safe and encouraging relationship where you can talk about those hurting parts of yourself and become aware of other parts that can give you choices and hope. I want to offer you a confidential, empathic and non-judgemental space to share your thoughts and feelings.

I will walk with you through:

Depression (Loneliness, social isolation, feeling empty, hopeless and sad, suicide ideation).

Anxiety ( Phobias, self-harming, social anxiety, a sense of not feeling present).

Trauma and addiction.

Eating disorder (Body dysmorphia, compulsion to exercise, self-critical, social media image demand).

Self and cultural identity struggle (immigrants, the second generation of immigrants).

Relationship issues ( Family, partners, work).

Loss ( Job, divorce, lifestyle, death).
