About me and my therapy practice
Welcome to Golowhe Therapy.
Golowhe is a Cornish word meaning ‘to glow’, ‘to light up’, ‘to illuminate’, ‘to shine’… I believe we all have the ability to shine, and sometimes we need support to find the light again in the darkness.
As a qualified counsellor trained in the person-centred approach and with over decade of experience working with and in the outdoors in a variety of woodland & educational settings, I can offer sessions in person and online, along with opportunity to use nature and the outdoors to facilitate our relationship.
Walk and talk therapy sessions in variety of locations in mid-Cornwall; ecotherapy and nature therapy opportunities; online sessions. Use of private room and site based at Choose Nature CIC (TA Badger Forest School), Carthew nr St Austell; or a private indoor space at the Hamleys Health Hub near St Austell on Wednesdays.
Individual and group session options available.

About me and my therapy practice
As a trainee supervisor, I can offer the opportunity for both personal and professional development through offering approaches that can be counsellor-focused, teacher-led, consolatory, and evaluative. With my fundamental counselling training in the Person-Centered modality, I remain humanistic and holistic in my approach with supervision.
I prefer to work in a collaborative way, not as an expert, but as another perspective on the dilemmas faced or topics aired with my own experience and understandings.
I will support you to learn to trust yourself and realise your potential.
Whilst training, all sessions will be conducted online for a fixed period with a reduced session fee of £25 per 90 minutes. We can discuss options further with a short initial consultation phone call (free no obligation). Thank you.
