About me and my therapy practice
I’m an integrative psychotherapist based in Sheffield, offering a collaborative, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for you to explore your feelings, experiences, and challenges.
I bring a broad life experience from working in diverse settings, including higher education, the third sector, and NHS. This has given me insight into the many complex ways life’s challenges can manifest, and how varied and individual the path to a better life can be.
I am experienced in working with young adults, students, women, vulnerable adults, and people with complex mental health needs.
I have experience with issues of bereavement, loss, meaning and identity, relationship difficulties, and life transitions. I have a genuine commitment to getting to know all the different parts of a person and helping work out what they need. In the spirit of human connection, we’ll undoubtedly share laughter and humour along the way too.
Practice description
I offer one-to-one talk therapy in person and online from Sheffield city centre (S1).
• In our sessions, you can expect warmth, empathy, and a genuine commitment to your wellbeing.
• I provide a quiet, confidential space where you can be yourself, explore difficult emotions, and work toward meaningful change.
• My aim is to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, understood, respected, and empowered.
• I practice integrative collaborative therapy, which means I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor our work together to your unique, individual needs.
• Whether you want short-term, goal-oriented sessions, or longer-term therapy, I will work together with you, at your pace, to address what matters most to you.
My first session
I offer a free 20 minute consultation to talk about what you want from therapy and help decide if I’m the right therapist for you.
In the first session, I will ask questions to find out about you, your story, what’s brought you to therapy now, and what you hope to gain. This will inform our work together.
I will also ask you to fill in some short forms, and we can talk about how the therapy might look going forward. After that, sessions will be lead more by you, and open to regular reviews.
Sessions last 50 minutes, but longer sessions can be facilitated depending on your needs.
