About me and my therapy practice

Are you finding yourself lying awake at 3am, replaying every conversation and wondering if you made the right decision? Perhaps that background anxiety has moved into the driver's seat, and you're feeling exhausted? Does it feel like no matter how much you do, it’s never enough, and you feel overwhelmed?

This isn’t an inevitable part of adult life, and things can get better. Anxiety doesn't have to run your life. You can learn to manage the racing thoughts and find your calm. Asking for support isn't a sign of weakness, but the bravest step you can take toward a healthier you.

By supporting you in knowing your feelings are valid, I help you find different ways of approaching life's challenges, which in turn, will help you come unstuck and reclaim connection and joy in your life.

I offer a unique approach to therapy, which combines traditional Psychotherapy with Somatic (feelings based) techniques that support Nervous System regulation as well as exploring emotional thoughts. It is often the combination of these two approaches that leads to meaningful change, even for people who have tried talking therapies in the past, but left feeling disappointed, or continuing to play out the same patterns.

I put you at the centre of our work together. I will support you in whatever it is you want to talk about, by providing a safe space, free of judgement. Through a relationship based on trust we will explore your experiences, needs and frustrations, from your perspective. Using a range of therapeutic techniques, I will help you gain better insight into your own unique inner world.

It is likely you will find the therapeutic relationship a very different experience to other relationships in your life, and this is often how change can happen. Our work together will provide you with a new perspective, and strategies you can implement in daily life to help you feel more resilient, regardless of what life throws at you. This can be incredibly freeing - even life changing.
