About me and my therapy practice
Do you find yourself overthinking, feeling anxious in relationships, or stuck in patterns you can’t quite explain?
Maybe you seem “fine” on the outside — but inside, something feels off.
You might feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or frustrated that the same issues keep showing up, no matter how much you try to change.
I’m Armi Jones, a BACP and British Psychoanalytic Council registered psychodynamic counsellor. I work with adults who want to understand themselves more deeply — not just cope, but actually make sense of why things feel the way they do.
Together, we’ll explore what sits beneath the surface — the thoughts, feelings, and past experiences that shape how you relate to yourself and others today. This can help you break free from patterns around anxiety, low self-worth, relationships, and emotional overwhelm.
Clients often come to me when:
They feel stuck in the same relationship dynamics
Anxiety or self-doubt is taking over
They feel lost, disconnected, or unsure of who they are
Life changes have shaken their sense of stability or identity
I have a particular interest in working with expats and those navigating major life transitions — where questions of identity, belonging, and direction can feel especially intense.
My approach is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. I’ll meet you where you are — while gently helping you go deeper, at a pace that feels manageable for you.
If you’re ready to understand yourself in a more meaningful way, we can start there.
