About me and my therapy practice
As an integrative practitioner, I believe in tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each individual. I recognise that everyone is different and what works for one person may not work for another. Therefore, I draw from various theories and therapeutic techniques to provide a comprehensive and personalised approach to therapy. In our sessions, I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I will provide tools that will help you beyond therapy and support you in day-to-day life.
Throughout our therapeutic journey, I will respect your comfort level and challenge you appropriately. We will proceed at a pace that feels both comfortable and sufficiently challenging for your growth and development. My goal is to provide support, and encouragement as you navigate your personal journey towards healing and self-discovery.
Remember, you are the expert on your own life, and I am here to accompany you on this path of self-exploration and transformation.
Practice description
As your therapist I offer a warm, open-minded, non-judgemental space where you can explore, question and start to change behaviours and/or thought processes that may not be serving you. I will be curious and an active participant in the therapeutic process. My aim is to help you understand and find ways to cope with your challenges.
I specialise in working with individuals who often feel disconnected from life. They may sense that their true selves go unnoticed by those around them and find themselves sacrificing their well-being to fit in with others. Regardless of how it feels, there is a gap between who they are and how they currently exist in the world.
When we can’t be true to ourselves and struggle to meet others’ expectations (or our own), it can lead to feelings of anxiety, loneliness, and fear of rejection.
Therapy provides an excellent opportunity to delve into the underlying issues and discover methods for fostering transformation.
