About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I’m Kelly. I’m a BACP-accredited counsellor and clinical supervisor with over 20 years’ experience supporting children, young people, and adults. I offer a calm, non-judgmental space where you can talk openly, at your own pace, about what’s going on for you.
I work in a warm, relational, and client-led way, believing that feeling genuinely heard and understood is central to meaningful change. Therapy with me is not about being “fixed”, but about developing insight, self-compassion, and finding ways forward that feel right for you.
People often tell me they feel at ease quickly in our sessions, even if therapy has felt daunting before.
Practice description
My core approach is person-centred counselling, meaning our work is guided by your experiences, values, and goals. I also work integratively, drawing on CBT-informed and solution-focused approaches where helpful.
I adapt my way of working to suit you — whether you need space to reflect, practical strategies, or support to make sense of long-standing patterns.
Areas I support
- Anxiety and panic
- Depression and low mood
- Trauma and adverse childhood experiences
- Low self-esteem and identity issues
- Bereavement and loss
- Self-harm and suicidal thoughts
- Relationship and family difficulties
- Loneliness and social anxiety
- Neurodiversity-affirming support (including autistic adults)

About me and my therapy practice
I am a BACP-Accredited counsellor and qualified clinical supervisor offering reflective, ethical, and relational supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists at different stages of their professional journey. My supervision style is collaborative, supportive, and appropriately challenging, with a strong focus on developing safe and effective practice while supporting the practitioner as a whole person.
I aim to create a supervision space that feels containing, thoughtful, and respectful, where supervisees can explore their work with honesty and curiosity. I value openness, compassion, and professional integrity, and I tailor my approach to meet the individual needs of each supervisee.
Practice description
My work is primarily informed by the Seven-Eyed Model of Supervision (Hawkins & Shohet), which allows for a rich, multi-layered exploration of clinical work. This model provides a deep exploration of the work which supports meaningful and insightful reflective practice across all aspects of the therapy and relationship dynamics.
• The client’s experience and process
• The interventions and relational dynamics in the therapeutic work
• The supervisee’s internal responses and professional development
• The supervisory relationship itself
• Wider organisational, ethical, and systemic influences
Using this framework, I help supervisees deepen their clinical awareness, recognise parallel processes, and develop confidence in their therapeutic decision-making. I also integrate ethical reflection in line with the BACP Ethical Framework, with particular attention to boundaries, safeguarding, power dynamics, and self-care.
My first session
I welcome supervisees from a range of therapeutic modalities and work collaboratively to ensure supervision meets both training and professional requirements.
• Trainee counsellors
• Newly qualified practitioners
• Experienced counsellors seeking ongoing clinical supervision
I offer
• A supportive, reflective, and non-judgemental supervisory relationship
• Space to explore clinical dilemmas, stuckness, and uncertainty
• Thoughtful challenge that promotes growth and ethical practice
• Attention to both client work and practitioner wellbeing
• Clear contracting and regular review of the supervision process
Supervision is available in line with BACP requirements.
Fees £45 - I hour £65 1hr 30
