About me and my therapy practice

I am Ijeabalum Asike (Ije),  a qualified counsellor and registered with BACP. I practice an integrative approach because my training background is person-centred and positive psychology. The person-centred approach forms the foundation of my work, where we focus on you, in exploring your emotions and support you in navigating the challenges of life.

Our sessions are client-led, where you are free to express your emotions, be authentic, and practice kindness to yourself. I provide a space where you can feel heard and respected, with no fear of judgment.

We work together to explore your emotions at your pace. Then find and resolve any unresolved emotions, and enable you make sense of them. The sessions are tailored to your needs and goals to help you delve deeper into yourself, gain more perspective, and build resilience.

I also support you in discovering your strengths and integrate them into your daily life.
