About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced and compassionate counsellor, caring deeply about what I do. I am commited to working with clients to help them find strength to deal with challenges that might feel overwhelming. I take a relational approach with my clients, providing a space to think, allowing clients to talk through life experiences and emotional distress. I work in a non judgemental way and welcome any material clients may wish to bring. I do not expect my clients to sit in prolongued silence (unless they wish to). I believe that a strong relationship between a therapist and client is vital to the success of therapy.
I have completed a five year rigorous training programme, accredited by the BACP.
As well as my private practice I have spent a number of years working for a charitable organisation.
I also have a BA Hons degree in Business and spent a number of years working in the corporate world, understanding the stresses anxieties and work related issues that the corporate environment can bring.
