I offer flexible appointment times online and by telephone.About me and my therapy practice
You might be here because something feels too much right now - maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed, lost, or like you’re carrying more than you can manage alone. You might not even have the words for it yet - just a sense that things don’t feel okay. If so, you’re not alone. And you don’t have to figure it all out before reaching out.
Hello, I'm Nat, a fully qualified integrative and NHS accredited counsellor for depression and anxiety and I offer a warm, calm space to gently explore whatever you’re carrying. My approach is person-centred, emotion focused and experiential, which means I’ll follow your pace and your inner sense of what matters. Together, we can begin to make sense of things, untangle what’s painful, and create space for more ease, clarity and self-trust.
Practice description
Hello, I’m Nat. I’m a fully qualified integrative counsellor offering in-person, telephone and online sessions.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to turn, I offer a warm and steady space where you can begin to explore what’s happening for you at your own pace, and in your own way. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan. Sometimes, just being gently accompanied in your experience is the place where change begins.
My work is deeply grounded in person-centred values. I won’t tell you what to do, but I will walk alongside you listening closely, responding with care, and helping you stay connected to what’s truly going on inside. I use a client-focused approach, which means I pay attention to the subtle shifts and feelings that may arise moment by moment, supporting you to come into closer contact with yourself and what matters most.
I work with a wide range of emotional struggles, including anxiety, low mood, loss and the impact of difficult life changes.
Alongside my private practice, I am an accredited NHS counsellor for anxiety and depression, working within the NHS Talking Therapies service. This experience supports my ability to work both short-term and long-term, depending on what’s right for you.
Reaching out for support can feel daunting. If you're curious about how we might work together, you're very welcome to get in touch. There’s no pressure to commit we can simply talk through what you're looking for and see if it feels like a good fit.
My first session
You can contact me by email at natalie.leslie@aol.com or by telephoning or messaging me on 07311 631596. My intention is to respond to all enquiries promptly within 24 hours.
Following a brief telephone introduction chat, I offer a 30 minute telephone call for us to think about what has brought you to seek counselling at this time in your life, for me to share how I might be able to support you, and for us to consider together whether it would be helpful for us to work together. It is also an opportunity to ask any questions and enable you to decide if we are a good match. There is no charge for this, and you are under no obligation to book a session.
On agreeing to work together, I will email you a contract outlining our working agreement, including confidentiality (and limits), for you to read and sign to confirm your understanding and agreement, before we start working together.
