About me and my therapy practice
Whether you’re struggling with the impact of challenging experiences, stress, anxiety, relationships, low mood or simply feeling overwhelmed, I’m here to listen and support you. Together, we can explore what you’re going through and work towards developing greater understanding, resilience and ways of coping.
Alongside private practice, I work for the NHS as a Specialist Fertility Counsellor. I support clients faced with the emotional challenges of undergoing fertility treatment including donor conception, clients experiencing pregnancy and infant loss, clients ending treatment, clients exploring other paths to parenthood or navigating a life without children not by choice.
I have additional training through Abigail’s Footsteps in providing support for bereaved families and completed The Foundation for Infant Loss training including Rainbow Baby Specialist certificate.
I work with donor conceived adults exploring their identities, beginnings and considering making contact with a donor or potential half siblings.
Alongside my specialist fertility work, I work with emergency services personnel. I offer a confidential and non - judgemental safe space away from the workplace where you can talk about what you have experienced and how it may be affecting you. You maybe frequently exposed to acute trauma, critical incidents, secondary trauma and chronic stress, in the workplace this at times layered on-top of personal life challenges that may arise.
I understand that asking for support can sometimes feel difficult when you are used to supporting others. Therapy can be a space where you can feel supported too.
I have completed Rewind training for working with trauma and PTSD-related difficulties. We can work together to explore interventions that can help you understand and process what you’ve experienced, build coping strategies, and support you as you move forward.
