About me and my therapy practice
Whatever you are going through you do not have to be alone with it.
By being here you have made the first step in caring for yourself. I believe it is vital in today's world that you give yourself the kindness and compassion you deserve, because you matter.
I am a Person-Centred therapist which means I work from the understanding that you are the expert in your own life and together we will explore and understand your experiences from which change and new ways of being can grow. You will always be at the centre of the work we both do together.
I have experience working with anxiety and stress, depression, bereavement and loss, trauma, sexual abuse, and self-confidence issues. I also offer support for the perinatal period, from conception, through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
I embrace difference, diversity and identity be it racial, cultural, sexual or gender-based.
Practice description
I provide both in-person and online therapy in London and Southampton and I also offer outdoor therapy (walk and talk) in Southampton Common. I am registered with the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and abide by the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. We work at your pace and sessions can be block booked or open ended.
My first session
Please feel free to email me if you would like to know more or ask any questions. Prior to beginning our work together, I offer a complementary consultation. This allows us time to explore together if we are a good match and whether I can offer you a service that is the right one for you. We will then arrange a time that is suitable to meet on a weekly basis.
Ongoing therapeutic sessions are £70 for in person therapy or £60 online and outdoor therapy. A therapeutic hour is classified as a 50 minute session. I offer discount rates to students, trainee counsellors, low income households and parents on maternity/paternity leave.

Outdoor therapy can be a great way to have therapy if you are at a point in your life where you are feeling stuck, you find the conventional therapy setting awkward and uncomfortable, or you generally find it easier to to talk when moving. Working in nature offers many beautiful creative and healing benefits.
Buggy Therapy: For clients who prefer to be outside I offer individual sessions with buggy and baby, encouraging parents to get out and about during a period of time that can be filled with unpredictability and difficulties. Sessions are 50 minutes to an hour around the Common, we walk at your pace and allow for any feeding or changing that may be necessary during this time.
