About me and my therapy practice
I am a relationally focused counsellor and psychotherapist with a humanistic and integrative approach. At the heart of my work is the belief that healing, growth, and self-understanding happen within the safety of a genuine therapeutic relationship.
Many of the people who come to therapy with me are thoughtful, reflective individuals who want to understand themselves more deeply. They may find themselves repeating familiar patterns in relationships, struggling with self-worth, feeling disconnected from their emotions, or carrying the impact of difficult life experiences and early attachment wounds.
My practice is particularly suited to those who are curious about their inner world and willing to engage in the sometimes challenging, often rewarding process of self-exploration. Therapy is not about fixing what is wrong with you. It is about creating space to understand yourself with greater compassion, awareness, and honesty.
Practice description
I offer a warm, non-judgemental environment where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. Together, we can make sense of what has shaped you, deepen your relationship with yourself, and support meaningful and lasting change.
I am particularly drawn to working with people who may not have experienced the consistency, emotional attunement, or sense of security they needed earlier in life. These experiences can influence how we relate to ourselves and others, often in ways that are difficult to recognise until we begin to explore them.
Many of the clients I work with are thoughtful, self-reflective people who feel ready to look beneath the surface of their difficulties. They may be experiencing challenges in relationships, feelings of disconnection, self-doubt, anxiety, or a sense that old patterns continue to repeat themselves. Often, they are not simply looking for solutions, but for a deeper understanding of themselves and their experiences.
Therapy can be challenging at times, and meaningful change often requires courage and curiosity. If you are willing to explore your inner world, question familiar patterns, and engage in an honest therapeutic relationship, I would be honoured to support you on that journey.
