About me and my therapy practice

Hello, it can take tremendous courage to begin counselling. To help, I provide a safe, warm, caring, non-judgemental space where you can explore your current life situation.

I am a qualified Psychosynthesis counsellor and member of the BACP. Psychosynthesis is an integrative and transpersonal approach to therapy which views clients as more than the issues they bring to the therapy room. It's an approach which includes the spiritual dimension of life. As a practitioner of Psychosynthesis, I aim to connect clients with their authenticity and what they feel is intrinsically true for them while exploring the issues brought to therapy.

Trust is an essential part of the counselling relationship. I strongly believe that without trust, counselling cannot be effective.

Empathy, trust, warmth, and understanding are some of my key tenets as an individual and as a counsellor. Our inner truths are subjective and hidden deep within us. As a counsellor, I aim to gently guide clients toward finding their inner truths.

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to potential clients. Please get in touch with me if you would like to arrange one.

This consultation enables me to understand your needs from therapy; and it allows you to glimpse my working style.

From there, once we've mutually agreed to work together, we will meet for weekly 50-minute sessions.

In addition to the list of things I can help with found below, I can also support with:

Coping with a miscarriage, postpartum depression, postpartum rage, identity issues in pregnancy/post pregnancy, boundary setting, childhood emotional neglect, experiences with racism, assimilating a cultural identity, and relocating/adapting to a new country & culture.

Sometimes, one may not feel any of the above and can simply feel lonely despite being surrounded by others. I am here to listen and provide a safe space where we can explore your thoughts and feelings together.
