I am working at Russel Square in London on Sundays. I also have a practice in East Grinstead where I work on a Thursday afternoon. I also provide sessions online.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer a warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences at their own pace. I believe the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change, and I aim to build a relationship based on trust, empathy and respect.
My approach is integrative, meaning I draw on a range of therapeutic perspectives including humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive approaches. This allows me to tailor therapy to each individual, recognising that everyone’s experiences, needs and goals are unique.
Practice description
In our work together, we may explore current difficulties as well as patterns that may have developed over time, helping you gain greater awareness and understanding of yourself. I also work collaboratively with clients to identify goals and develop practical strategies that can support change and improve wellbeing.
I work with people experiencing a wide range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, body image issues and neurodivergence. My aim is to support clients in developing insight, resilience and a stronger sense of self.
Alongside my professional training, my own lived experience of overcoming mental health challenges gives me a deep appreciation of how difficult things can feel, as well as how powerful the process of change and recovery can be. My goal is to support you in finding greater clarity, balance and empowerment in your life.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin to understand what has brought you to therapy. I will invite you to talk about what you are currently struggling with, as well as some background information about your life and experiences, so that I can gain a fuller understanding of your situation. We will also discuss what you hope to gain from therapy and any goals you may have.
During this session I will explain how I work, including issues such as confidentiality, session structure, and practical arrangements. This is sometimes referred to as “contracting”, and it helps create a clear and safe framework for our work together. There will also be space for you to ask questions and decide whether you feel comfortable working with me. Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, so my aim is to make the first session feel supportive, collaborative and at a pace that feels right for you.

About me and my therapy practice
Working with 12-year-olds and above, I offer a warm and friendly environment and am here to listen and not judge. I work as an integrative therapist drawing upon different therapy styles to suit your needs and preferences as an individual. What suits one person, may not suit another and part of my job is to make sure we use therapy styles that optimise your progress.
This typically includes a humanistic and psychodynamic approach where we explore everything that makes you the person you are today. Understanding this can help you become the best version of yourself and discover your full potential which ultimately will make you happier and feel that you are living an authentic life.
We may also discover some unconscious processes that affect your current behaviour but are no longer serving you.
Sometimes, we may agree upon a more structured approach (CBT) to help you focus on challenging negative thoughts and changing the behaviours that may be feeding into your anxiety and depression. This is a very collaborative approach and we will work together to understand and change your behaviours and thought processes that may be feeding into your anxiety or depression, for example.
On a final note, I have undertaken a lengthy Masters Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and also have a BSc in Psychology. I am passionate about psychotherapy and helping my patients to feel well and be the best version of themselves possible.
