About me and my therapy practice
A bit about me.
As a young adult, I found myself moving in a direction that felt confusing and lacking in purpose. The reasons, at the time, were not obvious to me. In February 2017, I reached out to a psychodynamic therapist for the first time; this marked the beginning of my own therapeutic journey, which has remained an ongoing part of my life since then.
Over time, the process of therapy allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of how I relate to myself and others, a greater capacity to stay with and understand my feelings, and to navigate life with greater resilience. I gradually became increasingly curious about the therapeutic process itself, and in time found myself undertaking a four-year training in Psychodynamic Therapy and Counselling, followed by building my own full-time private practice.

As your therapist.
I will listen to you attentively and do my best to attune to your feelings, often beyond what words can express. I will come to each session without an agenda of my own, ready to listen, think, feel, and together process whatever you bring.
I will strive to meet you with respect and reliability, without judgement, but with curiosity and courage to explore what is troubling you. Together, we will reflect on your feelings and thought patterns in order to gradually make sense of how your mind works, and of the underlying experiences that may have shaped it.
Working with me means having a therapist alongside you who is deeply invested in the therapeutic process, and in supporting you to understand yourself more fully, build resilience, and move towards a more present and fulfilling way of living.
Whether you have experienced trauma, are feeling depressed, struggling in relationships, dealing with anxiety or panic attacks, grieving, or carrying a persistent sense of sadness or dissatisfaction, I will offer a safe and steady space to explore what you are going through together.
My first session
If the above is of interest, feel free to reach out for a free 15-minute phone call, where we can discuss what brings you to therapy, my approach, and whether I may be the right person to support you.
If we decide to continue, we would begin with a 50-minute assessment session to get to know each other and explore whether we are a good therapeutic match. Ongoing sessions are 50 minutes long and take place weekly at the same agreed time.
