About me and my therapy practice

Relational counselling for individuals and couples, offering space to reflect and make sense of change, uncertainty and expectation.

Practice description

A reflective and relational approach to counselling

You may be seeking counselling because life feels as though it is falling apart, or because you are holding things together at a cost to yourself. You might feel increasingly unsure where you fit, or find yourself judging how you are seen by others, rather than feeling clear about who you are.

Changes in circumstances can play a part in this. Health issues, shifts in relationships, financial pressure, ageing, caring responsibilities or raising children can all alter how life feels and what is asked of you. Changes in sex or intimacy can also emerge, sometimes quietly and with uncertainty. These can affect sex and libido, putting intimacy and relationships off balance.

I also work with couples who want space to slow things down and understand what is happening between them, particularly when life circumstances or roles have changed.

I offer a place where you can speak without being corrected, judged or steered in a particular direction. There is no need to have the right words or a clear story. I pay attention to how you describe your life and what feels most pressing, allowing the conversation to unfold rather than be directed.

Over time, it can become easier to see what has been keeping things in place and where there may be room to move or change.

Contact me to arrange a free 20-minute phone chat, or by email for further information.
