About me and my therapy practice
I am a warm and grounded counsellor specialising in anxiety, overwhelm and life transitions.
If you’re feeling anxious, stressed, or stuck in your head…
If life feels too much right now…
If you’re going through a change — starting university, navigating bereavement, changing jobs, facing relationship shifts or adjusting to retirement — you’re in the right place.
Many of the people I work with describe feeling:
• Overwhelmed or unable to switch off
• Lost, uncertain or “not themselves”
• Self-critical or not good enough
• Stuck at a crossroads and unsure which direction to take
• Emotionally drained by trying to hold everything together
You don’t have to figure it out alone.
I offer a calm, supportive online space where you can slow down, breathe, and explore what’s going on for you. Together, we’ll work towards helping you feel more grounded, confident and able to navigate whatever life brings.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’m here.
You can contact me for a gentle, no-pressure chat to see if we’re a good fit.
Practice description
I currently offer appointments online via Teams, or by telephone.Telephone and online counselling offer flexible, accessible support from the comfort of your own space. They remove travel time, make it easier to fit sessions around a busy life, and can feel less intimidating than meeting face-to-face. Many people find they open up more easily when they’re in a familiar environment, helping therapy feel safe, convenient, and deeply personal.
Getting in Touch
Contact me to schedule an initial free 20 minute phone call.
Note: Please check your junk folder after contact, just in case, and I always respond to enquiries within 24 hours. My email address is linzi@truecounselling.co.uk
My first session
I offer a free 20-minute initial assessment, giving us a chance to get to know each other and explore what brings you to counselling. During this time, you can share as much or as little as feels comfortable, and I’ll ask a few gentle questions to help me understand your needs and what you’re hoping for from therapy. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask any questions about how I work and to get a feel for whether I’m the right fit for you. There’s no obligation to continue — simply a space to see if the support I offer feels helpful.
