I became a therapist after a long career in the arts, which gave me a deep understanding of the inner worlds we keep hidden and the ways we try to hold ourselves together. Many people spend years quietly carrying their struggles, supporting everyone else but rarely feeling heard or at ease.

Perhaps you’re often tense or on high alert or lose track of time in complicated thoughts or memories. I know how exhausting and lonely it can be trying to cope on your own.

In a calm, compassionate space, I offer warmth, sensitivity and understanding to help you begin to untangle what feels overwhelming or confusing. Together, we can explore anxiety, trauma, depression or relationship difficulties, always in a way that feels safe and manageable for you.

My approach is integrative and shaped around your unique needs. We might begin by finding steadier ways to manage anxiety or emotional overwhelm in the present. When it feels right, we may also gently connect what’s happening now with earlier experiences, helping you shift the patterns and struggles that keep you stuck. Whatever we explore, my aim is to help you find clarity, balance and a greater sense of control.

However long you’ve been holding things together, you don’t have to keep doing it alone. I’ll be alongside you with care and support as you move towards confidence, self-worth and lasting change.
