Availability

I work days and into the evenings Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and normal working hours Thursday and Friday. This can be flexible. I normally keep weekends free, so if you decide to contact me over the weekend it may be Monday that I respond to you. 
I always try to respond same day, but I promise to get back to you within 3 days. 

About me and my therapy practice

Hi,

Feeling stuck? I work with people and relationships who have had experiences that they can’t shift. Focusing on your relationship, with yourself, with the people around you, and with the world. It can be hard to reach out and trust someone, I have experience working with people who have had a hard time finding the right therapist.

·       Anxiety, low mood, and behaviours that you may want to change.

·       Do things feel like they keep going wrong in the same way?

·       Do you have something you’ve never felt able to explore?

·       Is your relationship feeling like it needs a change?

·       Are you unsure of your next steps?

Using multiple approaches, we challenge the way that you think and behave to find out what we could do to make the changes you want to. To get you feeling less stuck. 

I work both long and short term, weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly. There is always the option to change your choice to make sure that you feel in control of your sessions. 50-minute sessions for individuals, and 60-minute sessions for couples.

Practice description

I offer a free intro call so we can get to know each other a little. Asking questions about different aspects of your life like your support networks, and exploring what your challenges are. For couples this is done with one or both of you.

Ideally I work weekly, but I understand this isn't going to work for everyone. Fortnightly is sometimes a better option for people for a number of reasons. I always try to accommodate different needs with my schedule. 

I also send any information that you may need over after the intro call, so you can have a look before committing to sessions. Including a standard therapy contract and a form for all the information I need

My first session

In a first session we do a lot of figuring out, go through the therapy contract, and explain it, set goals for therapy and get to know each-other. Focusing on where you're at, and where you want to be. It's a chance for you to feel out the space and if therapy is where you want to be.
