About me and my therapy practice
I understand how difficult it can be to bring thoughts, feelings and emotions into the open and ask for help. Perhaps your relationships are strained, or you feel stuck and need an impartial ear. No matter what challenges you might be facing, feeling uncertain about where to begin is normal.
I am a warm and empathetic qualified and registered BACP counsellor who is interested in listening to your story and providing the support you need.
Practice description
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is crucial to the success of therapy, offering the possibility for positive change. This unique relationship comes without judgment or history, valuing you for who you are. In this collaborative space, you will be fully listened to, accepted and supported in your journey towards growth and well-being.
I offer a safe and confidential space where you can find your voice and openly express your thoughts, feelings, and emotions. These conversations often uncover important insights into unhealthy relationship patterns, the messages we tell ourselves, and aspects of life that we may not even be aware of, which hinder us from moving forward.
I believe we don’t come into the world with these behaviours, rather we internalise them as we navigate through life.
Engaging in this process can help you identify areas for change, leading to increased self-esteem and progress towards your personal goals.
As an integrative counsellor, I am influenced by various counselling practices, including person-centred, psychodynamic, and mindfulness approaches. I offer a fluid and adaptable approach tailored to your needs, with the therapeutic goals remaining at the heart of our work together.
I support a diverse range of conditions including: anxiety, depression bereavement/loss, relationship issues, navigating life transitions and stress.
If you would like to learn more about my practice, please get in contact. I offer a free 10-15 minute initial phone consultation. This is a great opportunity for us to connect and determine if you feel comfortable working with me.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a warm and empathetic qualified and registered BACP counsellor who is interested in listening to your story and providing the help you need.
I work with clients seeking support including, though not limited to, emotional wellbeing, anxiety, trauma, identity, relationship difficulties, and life transitions/challenges.
Many clients I support appear confident, capable and in control of life on the surface. Yet underneath they carry a critical inner voice, low self-esteem, relational/emotional difficulties that feel hard to acknowledge, a long standing pattern of putting others' needs ahead of their own or feel isolated and 'alone.' This can emerge in feelings of 'not being good enough', or through anxiety from unresolved grief or loss. Sometimes, it feels easier to push these feelings aside or pretend they are not there.
I offer a place where these experiences can be met with empathy instead of pressure or judgement.
As an integrative counsellor, I use several therapeutic models, including person-centred, psychodynamic and mindfulness techniques. This combination allows us to explore both what feels difficult right now and the less obvious, long-standing patterns that may influence how you feel.
Sessions unravel at a pace that is comfortable and attuned to your needs. The heart of the work is always you — your story, your experiences, and the parts of yourself that are asking for attention.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relational struggles, trauma, low self-esteem, or emotional overwhelm, our sessions provide a confidential, grounding space to explore what’s happening to you and to begin making sense of it.
Practice description
In our work together, I offer care and compassion as we explore the parts of your world that feel confusing or uncertain.
We pay attention to the patterns that keep you stuck, the beliefs that shape your emotions, and the self-dialogue that fuels anxiety, self-doubt, or internal criticism.
As sessions progress, clients begin to notice small but meaningful changes, and a sense of daylight returning as they develop a greater awareness of emotional triggers, become less self-critical, and the inner voice begins to recede. Together, we create more inner space to allow you to build steadier and more compassionate ways of coping, to help you move through life with greater ease, resilience, and self-kindness
I support a diverse range of conditions including: anxiety, depression, bereavement/loss, relationship issues, navigating life transitions and stress.
If you would like to learn more about my practice, please get in contact. I offer a free 10-15 minute initial phone consultation. This is a great opportunity for us to connect and is also a chance for us to find out if we can work together and for you to get a feel for my approach.

My first session
During the first session I’ll ask you some questions about your current concerns, background and what you hope to gain from therapy.
Sessions usually takes place weekly, at the same time each week for 50 minutes. The appointment slot that you are offered will usually be your ongoing appointment slot.
I recommend clients commit to an initial six sessions so they can start to feel the benefit of counselling; at this point we’ll have a review session.
Having said that clients are free to leave counselling at anytime as sometimes one or two sessions is enough.

Practice description
I provide a safe and confidential environment where you can find your voice and openly express the thoughts, feelings and emotions you’re encountering. These conversations often reveal significant insights into our unhealthy relationship patterns and our self-dialogue, and even bring unconscious details to light, which we can explore together.
I believe we don’t come into the world with these behaviours, rather we internalise them as we navigate through life.
In the safety of our relationship, I will encourage you to explore the many reasons behind your feelings and your responses to them. This includes examining the uncomfortable inner voice that often follows us. By engaging in this process, you'll start to identify the areas where you can make changes, which will help you feel better about yourself and achieve your personal goals.
