About me and my therapy practice
Life is difficult. From time to time it can feel unbearable and overwhelming — but if you're reading this, you probably know that already.
I am a relational integrative therapist available to meet face to face and online, to explore whatever is troubling you at a pace that feels right for you.
How I work
As an integrative therapist, I don't follow a single fixed model but draw on a range of therapeutic approaches — tailoring the work to the individual in front of me rather than fitting the person to the method. The relational dimension is central to everything I do: the quality of the relationship between therapist and client is not just a backdrop to the work — it is the work.
I am trauma-informed, addiction-informed and ADHD-informed in my practice — and not only by training. As a person in long-term recovery, my understanding of addiction is informed by lived experience as well as 12 Step philosophy. I was also diagnosed with ADHD in mid-life — which brought its own clarity about how differently some of us experience the world and ourselves.
During the '80s & '90's, I worked in the music industry and that background gives me a genuine understanding of the stressors and demands that come with working in entertainment. These things are part of who I am and they shape how I sit with people who may be navigating similar terrain.

Getting started
For the work to be effective it needs to feel like a good fit. That's why I offer an initial consultation — a chance for you to share what's troubling you and to decide, without pressure, whether you'd like to continue. If you do, my commitment is to be caring, curious and compassionate.
