About me and my therapy practice
You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, overthinking, low self-esteem or relationship difficulties. Perhaps past experiences continue to affect you, or you feel stuck in patterns that are difficult to change.
I offer a calm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I tailor my approach to each person's individual needs and experiences. I work with children, young people and adults, drawing on my psychotherapy and counselling training, alongside my Child Counselling Skills training with Place2Be and experience working in a secondary school.
I aim to provide an inclusive, respectful space where each person feels heard and understood.
I hold an MA and Postgraduate Diploma in Psychotherapy and Counselling and I am a registered member of BACP and an accredited member of UKCP.
Practice description
I offer therapy to adults, children and young people experiencing emotional or personal difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, relationship challenges and the effects of difficult past experiences.
Therapy offers a space to explore feelings, make sense of experiences and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.
My integrative approach is tailored to each individual's needs, age and circumstances. I aim to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves.
Whether you are seeking support for yourself or your child, we can work together to explore difficulties and find a way forward at a pace that feels right.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity to discuss what has brought you to therapy, explore your concerns and consider what support may be helpful.
With children and young people, I aim to create a welcoming, age-appropriate space where they can feel comfortable expressing themselves at their own pace.
There is no pressure to share everything straight away. Building trust and developing a therapeutic relationship are important parts of the process.
I also offer a free 15-minute introductory call to answer initial questions and discuss the next steps.
