About me and my therapy practice

Do you often feel anxious, low, or struggle with self-esteem and self-confidence? Perhaps you find yourself repeating the same patterns in relationships, even when you want things to change. You may feel stuck, overwhelmed by negative thoughts, or have a general feeling that something in your life just doesn't feel right.

Counselling offers an opportunity to explore your experiences, better understand yourself, and recognise how your past may be influencing your present life and relationships. It can help you make sense of difficult feelings, develop healthier boundaries, and begin to move away from patterns that no longer serve you.

Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, childhood experiences, co-dependency, the effects of narcissistic abuse, or difficulties in your relationships, I offer a supportive space to explore what is happening for you. Together, we can work towards greater self-understanding, improved self-esteem, and a stronger connection with yourself and others.

Practice description

My approach is individual and collaborative. I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches, including psychodynamic therapy, person-centred therapy, CBT, EMDR, attachment-focused EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and approaches to complex trauma. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, CPTSD, difficult childhood experiences, inner-child work, family and relationship difficulties, low self-worth, and challenges with self-acceptance.

Couples counselling

Alongside individual counselling, I offer compassionate, confidential couples therapy. This provides a space for partners to communicate more openly, understand each other's needs, and explore difficulties together.

Whether you are experiencing recurring conflict, feeling disconnected, rebuilding trust, or wanting to strengthen your relationship, couples counselling can help you better understand your relationship dynamics and explore constructive ways forward. My approach is supportive, respectful, and tailored to each couple's individual circumstances.

A space where you can feel heard

I believe that a trusting therapeutic relationship is central to the counselling process. I work collaboratively with my clients, offering a compassionate, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about the things that are troubling you.

Daytime and evening sessions are available.

I offer a free 15 minute telephone call to talk through what your therapy goals are and to answer any questions you may have.
