About me and my therapy practice
My name is Jane, I am a humanistic counsellor, offering face to face and online appointments. I work with children and adults from the age of 15.
Life can be challenging when you’re carrying the impact of past experiences or navigating a world that doesn’t always understand the way you think, feel or experience life.
Do you find yourself struggling with relationships, anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, or patterns that seem difficult to change?
These challenges can often be linked to our early experiences, attachment relationships and the impact of trauma.
I offer a warm compassionate and non-judgmental counselling service for young people aged 15 and over. Working from a humanistic perspective, I provide a safe and supportive space where you can explore your experiences, gain greater self understanding and move towards meaningful change.
I have a particular interest in attachment and trauma, recognising how past experiences can shape the way we view ourselves, connect with others and respond to the world around us.
Together we can gently explore these experiences at a pace that feels right for you, helping you develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience and self-compassion.
I also provide neuro-affirming support for neurodivergent individuals, valuing difference and adapting therapy to meet your individual needs.
Whether you are experiencing difficulties in relationships, the effects of trauma, anxiety, low confidence, or simply seeking a space to better understand yourself, counselling can offer support, insight and the opportunity for growth.
Get in touch to arrange an initial consultation and discover how counselling may support your wellbeing.
