About me and my therapy practice

Hello, my name is Sarah.

I am a Registered Member of the BACP.

Warm, compassionate I believe that everyone deserves a space to be heard, understood, and accepted just as they are. My own journey led to counselling after seeing how powerful it can be to have someone really listen — without judgement, without rushing to fix things, but simply being there alongside you as you find your way through.

That’s what I aim to offer my clients: a calm, supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. My approach is grounded in the Person Centred, but I can integrate therapy to suit each person’s unique needs. Sometimes that might mean talking things through; other times, using creative methods to express what’s hard to put into words.

I work with adults and have experience supporting people through many of life’s challenges — anxiety, stress, depression, loss, identity, low self-esteem, or difficulties at work, school or in family life.

I have experience in working with Domestic abuse; menopause and with neurodiversity.

Counselling is about connection and growth. It’s about helping you make sense of your experiences, find new perspectives, and move forward feeling more grounded and at peace.

How ever you come to counselling, you’re welcome here — this is your space to talk, reflect, and begin to heal.

Practice description

I work as a Therapist in a person centred way.

This means I accept you ,the client as the expert on yourself. You have control of what you want to share and work on each session.

This approach is a gentle talking therapy, but I will also include creative work if this helps when words aren't enough. I don't give you "homework"!

I offer you a space to explore your thoughts feelings and experiences in a non judgemental space at your pace.

We regularly review your progress and explore areas that you want to focus on.

I offer online sessions.

If this is something you feel would be helpful, please contact me at:
