About me and my therapy practice
Many people come to therapy feeling stuck - in their relationships, in unhelpful behavioural patterns, or with a sense that life feels harder than it should. You may be struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or the lasting impact of traumatic experiences on how you see yourself and relate to others. I offer a thoughtful, non-judgemental space where you can slow things down, feel genuinely heard, and begin to make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface.
I specialise in relationship and attachment difficulties, with an understanding of how early experiences and trauma continue to shape us in the present. Clients often come to me feeling caught in repeating relational patterns; such as taking on too much responsibility, struggling with boundaries, or feeling torn between wanting closeness and needing space. These experiences are often accompanied by anxiety, low self-confidence, or a familiar sense of being "too much" or "not enough". In therapy, we explore these patterns together, developing insight into where they come from and how they affect your relationships today.
I have also worked extensively with adults with ADHD, including those diagnosed later in life or who suspect they may be neurodivergent. ADHD can influence relationships, self-esteem, emotional regulation and work life in complex and often misunderstood ways. Alongside practical support, therapy offers space to explore the emotional impact of living with ADHD, including shame, frustration, or a lifelong feeling of not quite fitting in.
Practice description
My approach is integrative and relational, drawing on psychodynamic, attachment-based and existential perspectives, alongside CBT and ACT where helpful. This allows our work to combine depth and reflection with practical tools when appropriate. Therapy is collaborative and tailored to you, there is no one size fits all approach.
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma and MSc in Integrative Counselling and Coaching, and I am trained in psychodynamic, CBT, ACT, gestalt and narrative therapy. Being trained in multiple approaches means I can tailor our sessions to fit your individual needs, creating a personalised approach that combines listening and practical strategies. Above all, I value therapy as a place where understanding leads to meaningful change.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute introductory phone call, giving you the opportunity to ask questions, get a sense of how I work, and decide whether therapy with me feels like the right fit.
The first full session is a space for us to begin exploring what has brought you to therapy and what you might hope to gain from it. We’ll talk through your current concerns, relevant background, and any previous experience of therapy, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. There is no formal assessment or pressure to share more than you’re ready to.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified psychotherapist and coach with specialised training in multiple approaches including CBT, psychodynamic, narrative and existential therapies. This diverse background allows me to tailor our sessions to fit your individual needs, creating a personalised approach that combines listening, evidence-based methods, and practical strategies to help you feel both understood and empowered.
Meaningful change can often begin with self-understanding. In our sessions, we’ll explore the unconscious patterns and behaviours that may be keeping you stuck, while identifying practical steps to help you move forward with confidence. My goal is to provide a safe space where you can explore your challenges and aspirations without judgement. I will work with you to uncover new perspectives, build resilience, and develop the tools to navigate life with more clarity and purpose, setting the foundation for a more fulfilling future.
My first session
Our initial 50-minute session will be an opportunity to explore what has brought you to therapy and discuss your goals. We’ll also take time to address any questions you have about the process and outline what you can expect. Together, we’ll construct a plan for how we can best work together moving forward.
