About me and my therapy practice

If you are experiencing difficulties within a relationship, whether it be romantic, parent, family member, friend, colleague, teacher, child, or indeed with yourself, I invite you to contact me for a free chat to discuss how counselling with me can support you, or your child.

I help adults, young people, and children in my neurodiversity affirming and trauma-informed psychotherapeutic counselling practice, grounded in a person-centred approach.

You may feel stuck, be having sleepless nights and increased anxiety or panic attacks with worries or concerns about a relationship, at home, at work, or in an educational setting. I understand that relationships affect many areas of life.

You might have other symptoms such as stomach aches, headaches, be avoiding activities, people, or places. In counselling with me, I listen without judgement, and will work at your pace, to make sense of it all.

For parents who are seeking counselling for their child, I can support your child to understand emotions and build on their self-esteem, for example through a divorce or separation or school issue, to work toward achieving greater self-confidence.

We can work together to explore your situation and how it is impacting your life. I can support you to understand your emotions, tell your story, unravel confusion, reconnect with yourself, and rebuild your self-esteem and confidence.

If you have been told you are ‘too sensitive’, ‘too much’ or felt that people misunderstand or invalidate you, within significant relationships, you may feel less confident and more unsure of what to do.

You might have been holding onto a lot of hurt for a long time and even be feeling it is your fault.

In person-centred counselling, I value your individual experience and that your feelings are real, valid, and important.

I can help you to find your voice. We can work out together, your own ways and some new ways to move forward that are healthy for you, in your relationships and to have hope for a brighter future.

Practice description

I support adults, young people, and children aged 8+ face to face in Chichester, West Sussex and Haslemere, Surrey, and online for UK residents.

If you have experienced relationship issues, bullying, abuse, and traumas, past or present, you are welcome to email natureandsoul8@gmail.com for availability or visit my website natureandsoul.co.uk to book a free call or video chat.

I can help you to make sense of your situation. We can work together to build a space where you feel safe and grounded, and able to explore your experiences. I aim to support you to build your self-esteem, reduce anxiety and to trust yourself to express your voice and grow new wings.

As a Humanistic, person-centred counsellor, I support your individual needs toward growth and change. I aim to empower you to find your own answers toward self-understanding and change. This can be either as short-term counselling or longer-term psychotherapy.

I am integrative in my approach which means that I use different models to support your individual needs. You may feel confused and uncertain about who you are or who you want to be in the world or that you are seeking more meaningful connections in your relationships. I also offer tools alongside talking therapy such as creative therapies for all ages and walk and talk therapy for adults.

When words are not enough - I offer creative tools to help with exploring thoughts and feelings that are hard to express. I use sand tray therapy, paint, clay, pens, collage, music, games, meditation and more. These are supportive tools to express feelings through images and symbols.

These tools can assist change in short-term counselling or help to explore at more depth for longer term psychotherapy. I also work with body awareness, emotional self-regulation, and co-regulation meditation tools to understand and calm your nervous system. Connecting to the natural environment during a walk and talk therapy session offers another approach to accessing your inner experiences.

Either:

By text 07989378341

or email natureandsoul8@gmail.com

or visit my website natureandsoul.co.uk to link to my booking calendar.

So, firstly book a free chat to discuss your needs and find out more about me. In this chat, you can ask questions, talk about what you are looking to get out of your counselling sessions and find out about how I work.

Then, once you've had time to think about it, let me know you want to go ahead and I then send you a couple of forms to complete. At this point we arrange a date and time to meet weekly either online or face to face in Chichester, West Sussex or Haslemere, Surrey, UK. This date and time is then your session for however long you need counselling. I recommend at least 6-8 weeks for clients to begin with and review at 6 weeks.

The first session is often a good time to get to know your issue or story and what it is that you want to bring. We go at your pace and if talking is too difficult, that's when the creative tools can help you to feel safe and to get to know me. Sometimes it can be helpful to complete assessments in this session which can be looked at again later on to see how the counselling has progressed
