About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified MBACP counsellor offering person-centred, trauma-informed counselling and therapeutic coaching for adults and young people. My work supports clients experiencing emotional exhaustion, anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, relationship difficulties, or feeling disconnected from themselves. Many clients have spent years coping, masking, or adapting to others’ expectations and are seeking a safe, grounded space to reconnect with their own thoughts, feelings, and sense of self.

I bring a strong background in SEND education, specialist training in supporting neurodivergent adults and young people, and lived experience that informs my understanding of complexity, difference, and trauma. I take a non-pathologising approach, embracing each person’s unique traits, strengths, and personal journey.

I work in a calm, supportive and relational way, helping clients rebuild clarity, self-trust, and emotional resilience. I integrate Person-Centred Expressive Arts Therapy, using optional creative processes to access insight and understanding beyond words, alongside talking therapy. My goal is to help clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to navigate their inner world and outer life more confidently.

Practice description

My practice is person-centred, integrative, and trauma-informed, offering a combination of talking therapy and creative methods. Person-centred therapy provides the conditions for emotional growth, helping clients explore their feelings safely, rebuild self-trust, and develop emotional regulation. Person-Centred Expressive Arts Therapy allows clients to process complex or overwhelming experiences through creativity, including guided imagery, sand tray work, clay, and reflective exercises. These approaches are supported by research for trauma recovery, anxiety reduction, and self-awareness.

I work with adults and young people who are navigating burnout, high sensitivity, neurodiversity, relational trauma, or identity challenges. Sessions are online (UK-wide) or in person (West Sussex), and I also offer therapeutic coaching for neurodivergent clients, focused on emotional regulation, executive functioning, and outcome-oriented support.

I also provide professional supervision for counsellors and therapists, online, using a person-centred, reflective, and trauma-informed approach. Reduced-rate spaces are available for trainees.

My first session

Therapy begins with a paid 30-minute consultation. This is a focused, supportive space to explore:

  • your current experience and main concerns
  • previous therapy or support you’ve tried (or not)
  • practical considerations affecting therapy
  • goals and what you hope to achieve
  • how you engage best with therapy

This consultation helps us clarify your needs, outline a personalised pathway, and ensure therapy begins with intention. Clients often find that even this first session provides relief, clarity, and confidence in the next steps.

Availability

I offer flexible online supervision for counsellors and therapists across the UK, providing support for both qualified practitioners and newly qualified. Sessions are available weekday mornings, afternoons, and early evenings, with some weekend slots by arrangement to accommodate professional schedules.

Individual supervision sessions can be booked as one-off meetings, regular intervals, or block packages, depending on your professional needs and requirements for reflective continuity. This flexibility allows supervision to fit around your work commitments while maintaining a consistent reflective practice.

In addition to individual supervision, I facilitate monthly online groups for reflective and creative practice. These groups offer a safe, peer-supported framework for exploring personal process and reflection, rather than client cases. They integrate person-centred and expressive arts approaches, helping therapists enhance self-awareness, emotional regulation, and resilience.

Booking is simple via email or my website, and reduced-rate spaces are available for trainees. Each session is structured, confidential, and supportive, designed to help you reflect on your practice, explore challenges safely, and develop confidence and clarity in your work with clients.

Sessions are conducted via secure online video conferencing, providing a convenient, accessible option for practitioners across the UK. Please contact me directly to discuss your supervision needs, confirm availability, and book your first session or group placement.

About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified MBACP counsellor with extensive experience in trauma-informed, neurodiversity-aware, and person-centred practice, supporting adults and young people. Alongside my counselling practice, I provide online supervision for counsellors and therapists, drawing on my professional experience, specialist training, and reflective approach to guide and support supervisees at all stages of their career.

My background includes SEND education, specialist neurodiversity training, and trauma-informed counselling, giving me insight into complex client work and the challenges practitioners face. I am passionate about supporting therapists to develop self-awareness, confidence, and clarity in their practice while maintaining ethical, safe, and sustainable professional boundaries.

As a supervisor, I am grounded, empathetic, and collaborative, creating a space where supervisees can reflect on client work, explore professional challenges, and discuss emotional responses without judgment. I integrate person-centred and creative reflective approaches, helping practitioners deepen their insight, enhance emotional regulation, and strengthen their professional skills.

I work with both individual supervisees and groups, providing tailored support, structured reflection, and peer-supported exploration. My approach is flexible and responsive, designed to meet the unique needs of each supervisee while fostering growth, resilience, and ethical practice.

I believe supervision is an essential part of professional development, not only to support client work but to nurture therapists’ wellbeing, confidence, and professional identity. My aim is to create a reflective, safe, and supportive environment where you can explore your practice, develop your skills, and maintain sustainable, ethical, and fulfilling work with your clients.

Practice description

My supervision practice is person-centred, trauma-informed, and reflective, supporting counsellors and therapists to explore their professional practice in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. I work with both qualified and newly qualified practitioners, providing space to examine cases, ethical dilemmas, professional boundaries, and personal responses to the work.

I take a collaborative, non-judgemental approach, helping supervisees develop insight, confidence, and clarity in their client work while maintaining ethical and professional standards. Supervision is integrative, drawing on person-centred principles and, where appropriate, reflective and creative methods to deepen understanding and awareness of professional practice.

I offer supervision in two formats: individual sessions and monthly group reflective and creative practice sessions. Individual supervision allows tailored, in-depth exploration of your cases, challenges, and professional growth. Group sessions provide a peer-supported, structured framework for personal reflection, using creative approaches to enhance insight, emotional regulation, and professional resilience.

All supervision is delivered online within a framework of confidentiality, ethical practice, and professional boundaries, creating a space where supervisees can explore complex cases, develop self-awareness, and strengthen their professional skills. My goal is to help supervisees feel supported, confident, and capable in their ongoing practice while maintaining reflective, ethical, and sustainable professional work.

Supervisees can contact me directly via email or my website to book a consultation to discuss their needs, availability, and to book sessions. Reduced-rate spaces are available whilst I complete my training requirements with Creative Counsellors UK.

My first session

Your first supervision session is an opportunity to explore your professional needs and establish a clear framework for ongoing support. During this session, we will discuss your current practice, any challenges you are experiencing, and the types of cases or professional situations you would like support with. This initial session allows us to clarify your goals for supervision, the frequency and format that best suits your needs, and the areas you wish to develop, whether clinical skills, reflective practice, or personal professional development.

The session is collaborative and reflective, providing a safe space to examine client work, professional boundaries, ethical dilemmas, and your own emotional responses to the work you do. I use a person-centred, trauma-informed approach, helping you explore your own professional thinking and emotional experience without judgment. Optional creative and reflective methods may be introduced if helpful to deepen insight and awareness.

At the end of the first session, we will agree on the structure, frequency, and focus of ongoing supervision, ensuring that it aligns with your professional requirements and supports sustainable, ethical, and confident practice. Whether you are seeking individual supervision or wish to participate in peer-supported reflective creative groups, the first session provides clarity on how supervision can best support you and your work with clients.

By investing in this initial session, you ensure that your supervision is tailored, intentional, and immediately valuable, allowing us to focus on meaningful reflection and professional growth from the very start.

Supervisees can contact me directly via email or my website to book a consultation to discuss their needs, availability, and to book sessions. Reduced-rate spaces are available whilst I complete my training requirements with Creative Counsellors UK.
