About me and my therapy practice

Whether you had critical parents, or suffered bullying, neglect, or trauma such as sexual or physical assault, discrimination, an accident, violence or other adversities, you're not alone. These experiences will certainly affect your life in different ways, even if they happened decades ago. You may struggle with low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, body image concerns, relational difficulties, flashbacks, perfectionism, lack of focus, or any other symptoms. The impact of trauma can be extensive and profound.

If you're ready to begin addressing these challenges and unburdening yourself from the weight of past experiences, you've come to the right place.

As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches tailored to meet your unique needs, providing a safe and supportive space for exploration and healing. My job is to guide you towards a sense of safety, help you process your trauma, and find ways to live a more fulfilling life.

Practice description

I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and maintain registration with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Working in an integrative manner, I draw from various therapeutic approaches to tailor our sessions to your unique needs.

My practice is situated within a private, detached room in my home, offering a tranquil, comfortable and confidential space for our sessions. With a separate entrance, you can access our therapeutic environment discreetly, ensuring your comfort and privacy throughout our work together.

My first session

I offer a free initial fifteen-minute session conducted online or over the phone. This brief session allows us to gain insight into your concerns and explore whether our therapeutic collaboration feels like a good fit.

Following this introduction, our sessions will be on a weekly basis, each lasting 50 minutes. In the first few sessions, I listen and ask questions in order to gain a deeper understanding of your issues and how you respond. I firmly believe in working alongside you in a collaborative partnership, where your voice and preferences guide our therapeutic process.
