About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I'd imagine if you made it this far, you may be a feeling anxious or overwhelmed enough to reach out for support.  Anxiety can be a lonely experience. Asking for help can feel hard, especially if we have been told "just get on with it" "stay strong" or "don't cry" but reaching out for support might be one of the best things you do.

I'm Clare, an integrative counsellor.  Working together, we can help you to manage anxiety and understand what’s causing it. Enabling you to feel more aligned with yourself enabling you to create lasting changes.

My areas of interest include neuro divergence, attachments, trauma, ptsd and cptsd, relationship problems and grief and loss.

Maybe you are questioning if you have ADHD or autism and would like to explore it further with or without a diagnosis?

Perhaps you have a diagnosis and are left wondering "what now"? Let's explore that together in a safe space.

Existential crisis - questioning who you are and what your purpose is? 

Offering a warm and safe relationship where you can learn and grow to enable change.

I use the rewind technique to help with trauma which works in a similar way to EMDR and is highly successful. This works face to face and online. 

Sessions can be face to face in my relaxing therapy room in Melbourne, (free on the street parking available) on-line video calls or by phone.

My first session

I offer a free 15 minute introductory session for clients via telephone or video call for you to get to know me a little and ask any questions that you might have. 

I ask for a minimum of 8 weeks commitment to sessions as this should enable you to see some therapeutic change. 

In our first session we will look at a shared agreement so that you know what to expect from me and how I work in more detail.
