About me and my therapy practice
Do you often feel weighed down by feelings of anxiety, distressing or intrusive thoughts? Thoughts and feelings that stop you from getting out of bed, finishing this important school, home or office task; maybe you constantly feel terrified that something bad is going to happen? I hear you and I am here to help you. Together we will work in helping you understand the root causes and build healthy strategies to manage your thoughts and feelings which will eventually help you heal and feel empowered again.
I am a qualified and insured Person-Centred Counsellor, with training in Understanding Mental Health. I worked with young people, parents and adults and helped them regain their confidence, rebuild their self esteem and connections.
I understand how silent struggles with your mental health can make you feel and the huge impact on your daily life.
You may feel overwhelmed by persistent or sudden palpitations, shortness of breaths, feeling sick, throwing up after episodes of anger, sadness or an uncomfortable situation. Or maybe you feel constant unexplained pains, low mood and hopeless. These physical and emotional symptoms can have a negative impact on your mental and physical health, lead loneliness, struggles to make or maintain friendships, loss of confidence and self esteem.

I will listen to you, understand how it feels to walk the world in your shoes and see it through your eyes. I will help you live your life without feelings of limitations, shame and blame.
My first session
Our first phone contact will be for you to ask questions, discuss your concerns, needs and ways we can work together. This is also an opportunity to talk about your availability and will take up to 15 minutes, free of charge.
The first therapy session can be agreed with you during this call if you feel read to start or after you give yourself time to think about whether we can work together. Sessions are planned to suit you.
