About me and my therapy practice

Are you feeling overwhelmed and exhausted? Not quite sure why you’re feeling stuck, frustrated, anxious or emotional?

I’d like to help you explore your feelings in a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential way.

Hi, I’m Bev, a person-centred counsellor based in Hereford. I completed my FdSc in Counselling through Worcester University and worked at Herefordshire Mind and CLD Trust before starting private practice. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework for my practice. The person-centred approach means that you lead what we talk about, at your own pace, and when you are ready.

In my experience, the hardest part about counselling is accepting that you’re here, looking for a counsellor, trying to choose one that might work for you. You’re already doing the hard part, and that’s a huge step to feeling some relief.

Please call me for an informal chat, where we can discuss a little about what you'd like to explore and whether you feel we could work together. I offer 50-minute sessions at £45 each online or in person.

What I can help with

Addictions, Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Depression, Eating disorders, Health related issues, Loss, Obsessions, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Self-harm, Stress, Trauma

Types of therapy

Humanistic, Integrative, Person centred, Psychodynamic

Clients I work with

Adults, Older adults, Young people

How I deliver therapy

Long term sessions, Online therapy, Short term sessions, Telephone therapy, Time-limited
