You may appear capable and composed while privately feeling anxious, overwhelmed or never quite good enough. Perhaps you are hard on yourself, caught in overthinking, or relying on habits that offer short-term relief but leave you feeling worse afterwards. I offer online therapy for adults aged 18 and over in St Albans and throughout the UK. I work with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and major life changes, including divorce, menopause, empty nesting and retirement. We can explore what is happening beneath the surface, understand the patterns keeping you stuck and find a way forward that feels realistic for you. My specialism is addiction and compulsive behaviour. This includes substances as well as pornography, social media or another behaviour that feels increasingly difficult to control. You do not need to identify as having an addiction to ask for help. I also support people affected by the compulsive behaviour of a partner, relative or friend. My work is grounded in clinical training, ongoing work with an addiction-support charity and ten years of personal recovery experience. I understand how much courage it can take to acknowledge that something needs to change. With awareness comes knowledge. With knowledge comes acceptance. From there, we can work towards change. I offer online sessions across the UK and a free 15-minute consultation.Practice description
I am an Integrative therapist and draw on Motivational Interviewing, CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This means our work is shaped around you rather than a fixed formula. Most importantly, I will listen without judgement. My style is warm, honest and direct. I do not offer easy answers or toxic positivity. I offer a grounded space in which you can speak openly, understand yourself more clearly and work towards meaningful change. Before therapy begins, I offer a free 15-minute consultation. You can ask questions, tell me briefly what has brought you here and get a sense of whether we connect. There is no obligation to continue. The relationship between client and therapist matters, so I encourage you to take your time deciding whether I am the right therapist for you. Sessions are online, cost £70 and are available to adults throughout the UK.My first session
Before our first session, I will ask you to complete a short form. Our first meeting includes an assessment in which we look at your current concerns, relevant background and wider circumstances. Life can change even when you have done everything expected of you. Menopause, children leaving home, divorce, retirement or another transition may leave you questioning your identity, your relationships and what comes next. You might feel anxious, low or disconnected from the person you used to be. I offer online therapy to adults aged 18 and over in Cambridge and throughout the UK. Together, we can explore the losses and possibilities within change, the fears influencing your choices and the way you feel about yourself. You may be trying to accept life as it is, grieving the life you imagined, or wanting to make a change without knowing where to begin. My specialism is addiction and compulsive behaviour. This may involve substances, pornography, social media or anything else that is beginning to have more negative consequences than positive ones. I also support people affected by the behaviour of a partner, family member or friend. No label is required for us to take the problem seriously. I bring clinical training, ongoing work with an addiction-support charity and ten years of personal recovery experience. My approach is warm, honest and grounded in the understanding that awareness and acceptance can open the door to change. Sessions are online across the UK, and I offer a free 15-minute consultation.Practice description

You may feel stuck in a life that does not look or feel as you hoped it would. Perhaps you are carrying regret, mourning missed possibilities or finding it hard to accept where you are now. Low mood, anxiety and self-criticism can make change feel impossible, even when you know something needs to shift. I provide online therapy for adults aged 18 and over in Oxford and throughout the UK. I work with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and significant life transitions, including divorce, menopause, empty nesting and retirement. Therapy can offer room to say what may be difficult to admit elsewhere, understand how you arrived here and begin deciding what comes next. I also specialise in addiction and compulsive behaviours, including substance use, pornography and social media. You may be worried about your own behaviour or affected by that of a partner, family member or friend. You do not need to adopt a label for your experience to matter. My work is informed by clinical training, ongoing work with an addiction-support charity and ten years of personal recovery. I bring warmth, honesty and a belief that acceptance is not the same as giving up: it can be the place from which change becomes possible. I work online throughout the UK and offer a free 15-minute consultation.Practice description

About me and my therapy practice
I work with adults aged 18 and over, covering a broad range of issues including life transitions such as menopause and empty nesting, divorce and retirement, I also work with OCD, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. Relationship difficulties often sit here too, sometimes not in an obvious way. You might find yourself staying in a relationship, or a pattern within one, out of fear rather than genuine choice. Fear is something so many people carry but rarely talk about openly.
Perhaps you are finding it hard to accept life as it is, experiencing regret or mourning a life you wish you had, or struggling with how you feel about yourself.
My specialism is addiction. It has been through a hard road of acceptance, knowledge, and change that my passion for working with people has stemmed from, leading me to find my desire to help others navigate their own path forward. This is grounded in ten years of personal recovery experience, alongside my clinical training, and my ongoing work within a charity focused on addiction support.
Compulsive behaviours don't need a label to be worth exploring. You don't have to identify as having an addiction to know that something feels like it's starting to slip out of your control, whether that's your own relationship with something like pornography or social media, or watching someone close to you, a partner, family member, or friend, struggle with a compulsive behaviour and feeling the impact of that on you. If something is bringing more negative consequences into your life than positive ones, that's often exactly the kind of question worth bringing into therapy.
With awareness comes knowledge. With knowledge comes acceptance. And with acceptance, we can work towards change. Sessions are available online, UK-wide, and if any of this resonates, I'd be glad to hear from you.
Practice description
My first session with a new client is focused on assessment. This is a crucial part of the start of therapy: it's where we look at all aspects of your life, not just the presenting issue, so we can properly identify what you need and what you're working towards together.
I am an Integrative therapist, drawing on various techniques from Motivational interviewing, CBT and ACT but most importantly, I'm here to listen to you, without judgement.
Before we begin, I offer a free 15-minute consultation. I encourage you to come with questions; ask me anything you need to in order to feel comfortable moving forward. It can also help to sit with a few questions of your own beforehand. How would I like things to move? How would I like to feel at the end of this? What am I working towards? What's brought me here?
There's absolutely no commitment to continue into therapy after this call.
You can have all the qualifications in the world, but what therapy really comes down to is connection. If you don't feel that connection with a therapist, the work is much harder, so please take your time deciding if I'm the right person for you to work with. My style is warm and direct: no toxic positivity, just honest, grounded support while you find your way through.
My first session
Before our first session, I'll ask you to complete a short form. This helps me carry out a full assessment, including gathering background information and setting goals together. In my experience, having a clear picture of your life allows me to support you in the way that's right for you.

Perhaps something that once helped you cope is now beginning to control you. It may involve alcohol or another substance, pornography, social media or a different compulsive behaviour. You might be keeping it hidden, making promises to stop, or wondering whether it is “bad enough” to justify asking for help. You do not need to call yourself an addict. If a behaviour is bringing more negative consequences than positive ones, or is affecting your relationships, confidence or emotional wellbeing, it is worth talking about. Addiction is my specialism. My work combines clinical training, ongoing experience with an addiction-support charity and ten years of personal recovery. I understand both the difficulty of acknowledging a problem and the possibility of building lasting change. I also work with partners, relatives and friends affected by someone else's compulsive behaviour. Alongside addiction, I support adults aged 18 and over with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties and life transitions such as divorce, menopause, empty nesting and retirement. We can explore fear, regret, shame and the patterns that keep you stuck without reducing you to a label. With awareness comes knowledge. With knowledge comes acceptance. From there, we can work towards change. I offer confidential online therapy for adults in Richmond and throughout the UK, together with a free 15-minute consultation.Practice description
I am an Integrative therapist, drawing on Motivational Interviewing, CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). We will explore what the behaviour does for you, what triggers and maintains it, and what you want life to look like beyond it. My manner is warm, direct and non-judgemental. You can speak honestly without being shamed, lectured or expected to pretend that change is easy. We will work at a manageable pace, combining understanding with practical movement towards your goals. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so that you can ask questions and decide whether we are a good fit. There is no commitment to continue. Sessions are online, cost £70 and are available to adults across the UK.My first session

A relationship ending—or changing in a way you did not choose—can unsettle your whole sense of who you are. You may be dealing with separation or divorce, questioning whether to stay, repeating a painful relationship pattern, or trying to rebuild your confidence after a difficult experience. I offer online therapy for adults aged 18 and over in Guildford and throughout the UK. I work with relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, anxiety and depression, as well as life transitions including menopause, empty nesting and retirement. Sometimes we stay in a relationship, or repeat a pattern within one, because fear feels safer than change. Therapy gives you space to understand what is keeping you stuck and consider what you genuinely want. I also specialise in addiction and compulsive behaviour. You may be concerned about your own use of substances, pornography, social media or another behaviour, or you may be living with the impact of someone else's behaviour. You do not need a label before your experience is worth exploring. My perspective is informed by clinical training, ongoing work with an addiction-support charity and ten years of personal recovery. I offer a warm, straightforward space without judgement, where we can make sense of what has happened and work towards a life that feels more like your own. Sessions are online across the UK, and I offer a free 15-minute consultation.Practice description
I work integratively, using ideas and techniques from Motivational Interviewing, CBT and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). We may look at your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, the choices available to you and what matters most as you move forward. My approach is warm and direct. There is no toxic positivity and no pressure to have everything worked out. I will listen carefully and help you look honestly at your situation without judging you or telling you what decision to make. I offer a free 15-minute consultation before therapy starts. This is an opportunity to ask questions, explain what you are looking for and see whether working together feels right. There is no obligation to book a session afterwards. Online sessions cost £70 and are available to adults throughout the UK.My first session
