About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Christian. Starting counselling can feel uncertain, even uncomfortable. You might be unsure what to expect, questioning whether it’ll help, or wondering if it’s worth opening things up. That hesitation makes sense. Most people don’t arrive at therapy feeling confident or clear. They arrive feeling tired, stuck, or unsure where else to turn.
Choosing counselling isn’t about having all the answers, it’s about deciding to give yourself some space. Space to slow things down, to talk honestly, and to make sense of what’s been building underneath the surface. I’ll meet you where you are, and we’ll take things at a pace that feels manageable and right for you.
My work is integrative and relational, meaning there’s no one-size-fits-all way of working. Some sessions might feel reflective and exploratory, others more practical and focused. I’m direct, but always human. We’ll look at what’s happening in your inner world, how your experiences have shaped you, and how those patterns show up in everyday life- especially under pressure.
I work mainly with men and understand how much of the day to day can be carried quietly. The expectations to cope, to hold it together, to not make a fuss. Whether it’s stress, relationships, anxiety, anger, low mood, or a sense of being lost, this is a space where you don’t have to perform or explain yourself away.
Life can feel heavy at times. Therapy won’t make it perfect, but it can help you feel more steady, more aware, and more able to respond rather than just react. Together, we’ll build understanding, develop practical ways of coping, and move toward a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and your own.
Reaching out takes courage, not because you’re weak, but because you’re choosing to do something different. If you’re ready to take that step, I’m here to walk alongside you, offering support, clarity, and a safe place to talk about whatever life is asking of you right now.
