Availability

I understand making initial contact with a therapist can feel a bit daunting; the first step is to get in touch with me via email. I will respond via telephone or email (you choose); to find out what is bringing you to therapy and to arrange our first session. I offer a free 20 minute initial consultation; then you decide if you would like us to work together. I offer both open-ended and fixed-term therapy. We can discuss both options and decide together which is best suited to your needs and expectations.

I currently have some availability Tuesday to Sunday for face to face or online appointments. Other online availability may be available. In-person sessions take place in a discreet and tranquil therapy room. The premises are easily accessible by car; there is free parking and wheelchair access. Online sessions are available; I use the most GDPR-secure web-based video platform for online therapy sessions for national or international sessions. I have undertaken additional training for safe and effective online therapy and have sound knowledge and critical understanding of digital communication technologies in terms of online counselling practice.

About me and my therapy practice

I have a welcoming and down to earth approach. I offer a calm and confidential space for you to share and explore your thoughts and feelings; allowing you to use the time and space to discuss whatever is on your mind; as honestly as you can. I work alongside you and help you to gradually explore your fears or worries, and I will tailor the therapy to meet your own unique needs. Working collaboratively to find ways to understand and manage your problems; leading to transformation and improved emotional wellbeing. The relationship that develops between us is key to successful therapy. Once that relationship is established, and you feel connected and properly heard, then our work can begin on improving your emotional health and mental wellbeing.

I work with a wide variety of emotional difficulties, mental health challenges and relationship issues including, but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma and childhood trauma, relationship / family difficulties, gender identity, ADHD, autism and BPD / EUPD.

I offer open-ended, short or long-term therapy depending on what your needs are. I work face to face and online via Zoom. We start with an initial consultation to help us determine whether we are able to work together, and if we decide to go ahead, we will see each other weekly for a 50-minute session. 90-minute sessions are also available.
