About me and my therapy practice
I am Louise, a down to earth, warm counsellor with a good sense of humour. I offer solution focused brief therapy 6-8 sessions or long term...find out more in my profile.
You are probably searching for someone that you feel a connection with.
I like to keep things simple and straightforward (no jargon here) I work online by video link (or telephone) so I can provide therapy for you, wherever you live in the UK.
- How I work
I work online (video link) or by telephone and I have some availability at the moment.
I offer LONG TERM therapy that is open ended-suitable for exploring your past and how it affects the present, giving you time and space to explore your difficulties and make positive changes in your life......OR
Solution focused BRIEF THERAPY. It is short term therapy of 6-8 sessions that focuses on helping you find/implement solutions- so it less about the past but about your difficulties in the present and helping you to find a better way forward.
Brief therapy is therefore goal oriented, collaborative and future focused.
If you are not sure what is right for you, just send me a message.
- I work with: relationship difficulties, fertility issues, miscarriage, bereavement, challenging emotions, life events and changes, low mood, self esteem, low confidence, depression. I also specialise in anxiety difficulties.
If you have looked at some profiles you may find that ultimately, you are looking for someone that you can feel a connection with, a therapist that is warm, kind, gentle and nurturing. After-all you want to feel free to talk about anything and be comfortable.
Even if you find yourself angry, crying, or laughing during a session, it's all important stuff along the way.
Our therapy relationship will be unique, like no other in every day life. Our relationship is the recipe for changes to happen, for you to feel that someone else understands you and is supporting you to find relief and a better way forward in life.
