About me and my therapy practice
I believe therapy is a journey of self discovery and acceptance of yourself as a whole.
Therapy is a powerful and transformative process, and finding the right guidance is important in feeling safe and supported in this journey.
I offer support to individuals navigating life's challenges such life changes, stress, anxiety, depression, burnout, relationships issues and symptoms of trauma and PTSD.
I believe you can take healing in your hands, becoming empowered to find your own way through life’s challenges, finding resilience and harmony within yourself - we all have the tools to make positive changes in our lives. My job as a therapist is to walk alongside you in your healing journey, offering a space for you to explore your issues at your own pace, without judgement.
I use an integrative approach to therapy that takes into account the person as a whole: mind, body, spirit. As a pluralistic counsellor, I blend different tools and techniques depending on what suits you best.
I offer online and in person sessions, including Walk and Talk therapy, which is a great way to connect to your Self and use nature as a co-therapist.
I have a decade of experience working with people in a clinical setting as a chiropractor. This has informed my understanding of the mind body connection, and the importance of treating the person as a whole.
Practice description
I work on a 121 basis either in my own office, online, or in the form of Walk and Talk therapy.
I offer a safe space for you to explore your issues, helping you understand yourself better, so you can find your own way through of your current issues.
Therapy is a personal journey: everyone is unique and different, and this is why my approach is different with each person.
My first session
I offer a free initial 15 min call so we can get to know each other and figure out if we're a good match. We can then book your first session, either online or in person.
In your first session, you'll have the chance to discuss your current issues. I will gather information about your personal history and details, and discuss the terms of our therapy session so you can agree with informed consent.
This session will also give you a chance to ask questions and make sure you are comfortable with me.
