About me and my therapy practice

I specialize in anxiety, OCD, and phobias. I also have experience working with depression, low self-esteem, behavioural issues and ADHD.

Making the decision to reach out for help is a brave act, and in my eyes shows how strong you are. I know it's not an easy task to start therapy, so I always strive to create a warm, non-judgemental, and comforting environment with my clients from beginning to end.

The foundation of my work is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with a person-centred approach, but I also pull upon other modalities like Mindfulness-based therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy. I believe in collaboration in the therapeutic journey, as no body knows you better than YOU. I believe in the mind-body connection and the importance it plays in the path to wellness.

I am originally from Canada but now call the UK my home. When I'm not doing counsellor related things, I enjoy dabbling in the arts by making things like jewellery, crochet, photography or dancing.
