About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully qualified BACP registered counsellor with extensive experience working with young people and adults in various settings including schools, colleges and talk therapy agencies. I have also supported children, young people and adults in local government services.
I have qualifications in Person-Centred Counselling and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I am also trauma informed in my clinical practice.
I offer a safe and supportive space in counselling, for you to explore any difficulties you are currently experiencing.
I will ensure you feel heard and can gain greater understanding of your own unique needs and circumstances.
Practice description
I work in an Integrative way, following the Person-centred approach with techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
I believe that you are the expert in your own life experience and we would work jointly towards acceptance of, or solutions for the challenges you are facing.
We will explore your thoughts, feelings and responses towards difficult situations you may be facing. You may also wish to look at the beliefs you hold about yourself and others. Also your values and what is important to you.
I offer face to face counselling at a comfortable office in Whitefield. Well served for parking and local transport links. Online and telephone therapy is also available.
My first session
A free introductory telephone meeting of 20 minutes is available to discuss what you would like to gain from counselling.
I will be happy to answer any questions that you may have and we would be able to see how I could support you and work with you in your best interests.
