About me and my therapy practice

Life brings many challenges that can be difficult to navigate. I often work with men and women who think deeply about themselves, their relationships and their work, yet find themselves struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, perfectionism, overwhelm and uncertainty about how to move forward.

At the heart of human experience are our relationships with ourselves and with others. The therapeutic relationship works through the trust we build over time and offers a unique opportunity to better understand yourself and the way you relate to the world around you.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in a commercial environment. This gave me a strong understanding of the pressures that come with work and the challenge of balancing responsibility, achievement and the demands of modern life. 

Practice description

I am an Integrative Counsellor, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches depending on your individual needs and goals. 

My approach is warm, collaborative and gently challenging. At times, this may involve reflecting on difficult questions and thinking about yourself and your experiences in new ways.

I offer both short-term and open-ended therapy, depending on your needs and what you hope to gain from our work together. Sessions are available in person in Clapham and online.

My first session

Finding the right therapist is important. 

I offer an introductory call before we begin. This gives us the opportunity to discuss what has brought you to therapy, answer any questions you have and get a sense of whether working together feels right.

If you wish to continue, our first session will provide an opportunity to explore your concerns in more depth and think about what you hope to gain from therapy.
