About me and my therapy practice
At TQ Counselling Services, my practice is grounded in both professional training and personal lived experience. I understand firsthand how overwhelming and isolating mental health challenges can be - and I know the courage it takes to seek support.
My aim is to provide a safe, supportive, and confidential environment where you can feel heard, understood, and respected - without judgment. Whether you're dealing with stress, anxiety, low mood, relationship issues, addiction struggles, or simply feeling stuck, I offer a space where we can work together to explore what’s going on for you.
You are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you - helping you navigate difficult emotions, explore past and present experiences, and find ways to move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
I hold a Master's degree in Child and Family Psychology and a Master's degree in Clinical Counselling. I’m a graduate member of the British Psychological Society and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), committed to ethical, evidence-based practice.
Based in Chester, I offer counselling for adults and young people, either in-person or online via video (Teams) - whichever feels most comfortable and accessible for you.
Practice description
TQ Counselling Services is a private counselling practice based in Chester, dedicated to providing thoughtful and accessible support to those navigating life’s difficulties.
I specialize in working with men and teenage boys, particularly around issues such as low mood, anxiety, addiction, self-worth, and the impact of past experiences.
My practice offers a calm, confidential setting where clients can take time to reflect and work through what’s troubling them without pressure or judgement. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to begin, I will meet you with patience and understanding.
I aim to make the counselling process feel approachable and down-to-earth, offering consistent, reliable support at a pace that suits you.
Many clients I work with have never accessed therapy before - so if this is your first step, please know you’ll be guided through the process with clarity and care.
