I am an integrative humanistic therapist trained in Transactional Analysis, Gestalt and Person-Centred modalities (Diploma Humanistic Counselling, BSc Humanistic Counselling). I work integratively using the theories that best suit my client’s presentation and goals.
As a humanistic therapist, I believe passionately that everyone has the ability to change and help themselves. I see my role as helping facilitate that. By placing you, the client, at the heart of the therapeutic encounter and walking shoulder to shoulder with you, I can help and support you in finding a way to restore inner balance and peace.
I offer a warm, empathetic, safe and judgment-free space, which can allow you to explore your feelings and find a way forward that works for you.
I offer both short term counselling (6 to 26 sessions) or long term (open ended) sessions, depending on your needs.
Sessions are online only and available via Zoom.
About me and my therapy practice
As a Humanistic therapist, my approach is centred on understanding each client as a unique individual. I believe you are the expert on you and aim to raise self-awareness. As we both get to know your authentic self, this leads to an increased autonomy and internal trust. Painful and difficult life events can block a person’s self-belief and worth, obscuring their ability to find solutions and emotional freedom. The humanistic approach works on gently removing these blocks allowing constructive and healthy emotional and psychological growth.
I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey where we work together to not only address immediate concerns but also build long-term tools for managing challenges and enhancing overall well-being. Whether you’re facing difficult circumstances or simply seeking to grow emotionally, my goal is to support your through your journey toward positive change.

My first session
I offer therapy online, making it convenient for clients to access support from the comfort of their own homes. I offer a free initial 15-minute telephone session to gain an understanding of what you would like to attain from the therapeutic process and to answer any questions you might have about my qualifications and therapeutic process. This also helps to give you a feel to whether you think you would like to commence therapy and whether I am the right therapist for you.
The first session also gives me an opportunity to ensure that I am appropriately qualified to work with the material you are bringing to therapy. An example could be issues around adoption, as there are separate qualifications required to work within this area. I would be happy to help you source another therapist in such cases.
