About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Sara سارا
The people who seem to find me learned to cope by pleasing, pushing, or performing, and who now feel disconnected from their instincts, their bodies, or their relationships.
Some examples of why you might be reaching out:
- Feeling stuck in familiar and unfulfilling relationships or re-occuring situations within your circles
- Support with traumatic events or PTSD
- Stuck feelings of anxiety, grief, anger, sadness, shame, loneliness, depression or over thinking
- Processing a diagnosis or transition
- Support in navigating systemic and societal structures with clarity and self-compassion
- Notice ongoing physical symptoms that don't make "full sense" or have Repetitive strain injury (RSI)
- Struggle to trust your instincts, low confidence
- Overwhelmed but not sure why or what is causing it
- You may know exactly what the issue is but are still struggling to make a decision and take action
- Creatively stuck on projects or not reaching your goal
The heart of my practice is finding what supports you towards what you're needing and I hold that preciously central in our work together, supporting you towards that out of the therapy room.
My approach is collaborative, exploratory, with an emphasis on supporting meaningful change.
Practice description
I am experienced in working with people that intellectually know and understand themselves is but the shifts aren't happening, they aren't able to take action, their feelings are stuck. I also specialise in supporting people towards clarity when they don't know how to make sense of what they want, need or who they are.
Alongside my counselling training, I have a background as a classical singer and have a lived experience of how important expression is, navigating pressure, fear, passion and all that can show up in-between. This gives me an appreciation of your unique knowing, the wisdom of the body which it's a joy to watch people reconnect and start to tune into themselves.
I offer creative ways of working when helpful. I often refer to what happens moment to moment between us in the room offering it as information for what happens for you "out-there".
I am LGBTQ+ affirming, culturally and socially engaged and identity interested. This is an area of interest for me and I'm always reflecting and learning on my own identity and understanding within intersectional circles, communities.

My first session
We’ll work with whatever feels most relevant for you – whether that’s something happening now, a recurring pattern, or a sense that’s difficult to put into words. As we explore together, I may invite gentle attention to thoughts, feelings and bodily responses if and when that feels helpful. We’ll also look at how long-standing patterns once made sense, and what they may have been responding to at the time. This can lead to relationships that feel more authentic and less effortful, reduced self-criticism and shame with greater trust in your instincts.

If you’re curious about working together, you’re welcome to get in touch to arrange an initial session or intro call and see how it feels.

About me and my therapy practice
Hi, I’m Sara سارا
I'm a Gestalt Counsellor (MBACP) working in Shoreditch (EC2A) and online.
I work with adults who learned to cope by pleasing, pushing, or performing, and who now feel disconnected from their instincts, their bodies, or their relationships.

- Experience shame, low self-esteem, anxiety, or persistent stress
- Notice body symptoms, tension, or pain that doesn’t make “full” sense
- Struggle to trust your instincts or know what you need
My approach is collaborative, exploratory, with an emphasis on supporting meaningful change.
Practice description
I work somatically and creatively, and at times may suggest using objects, pillows, paper or voice when things feel stuck. These ways of working are always optional and guided by what feels helpful for you. I also offer pyscho-education where useful, especially around trauma, stress and the mind-body connection. My practice is anti-oppressive and identity conscious.
