About me and my therapy practice

At times, life can feel overwhelming, and it can be difficult to make sense of what you are thinking, feeling or experiencing. You may be struggling with anxiety, low mood, the impact of past experiences, relationship difficulties, or recurring patterns that leave you feeling stuck. Whatever has brought you here, you do not have to face it alone.

I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about whatever is troubling you. Together, we can gently explore the experiences, relationships and patterns that may be affecting your life, helping you to make sense of difficult emotions and gain a deeper understanding of yourself. We may also explore the impact of past experiences on your life today, creating space for greater self-awareness, self-compassion and lasting change.

As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs. I believe that every person's experiences are unique, so I tailor my approach to suit you as an individual, recognising that what is helpful for one person may not be right for another.

I offer sessions in person and online, with appointments available on weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Practice description

I specialise in working with childhood trauma, abuse, complex trauma, anxiety and depression. I also support clients experiencing relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, addiction and grief.

Painful experiences and unresolved memories can affect how we see ourselves, relate to others and navigate everyday life. They can leave us feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck or unsure of how to move forward.

Therapy offers a space to explore these experiences with support and compassion. Together, we can make sense of the thoughts, feelings and patterns that shape your experiences, explore ways of coping that may no longer be serving you, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. Through this process, you can cultivate greater self-awareness and self-compassion, creating the possibility for healing, growth and meaningful change.

My first session

An important part of this initial session is deciding whether we are a good fit to work together. Feeling safe, comfortable and able to talk openly with your therapist is an important foundation for effective therapy, and the first session gives us both the opportunity to see whether we feel comfortable working together.

If we decide to continue working together, we will agree on regular sessions, ideally at the same time each week.

As our work progresses, we will regularly check in about how you are experiencing therapy, whether it is supporting you in the ways you had hoped, and whether there is anything you would like to focus on differently as our work evolves.

If you would like to arrange an initial conversation or find out more, please get in touch.
