About me and my therapy practice
Sometimes events in life can throw us off course, and sometimes the difficulties we carry aren’t tied to a singular event, but to a more subtle, long-standing sense of being too much, not enough, or somehow fundamentally at fault. Perhaps you’re driven by a harsh inner-critic, feel overly responsible for others, or struggle with shame that doesn’t seem to shift no matter how hard you try.
Whether you're facing a particular difficulty, seeking deeper healing, or simply want space to share the joys and stresses of being human, you needn't do so alone. I honour the courage it takes to invite another into your world and am committed to helping you find your own way forward.
My work is trauma-informed and grounded in a rich theoretical framework, allowing me to adapt my approach to your specific needs. As a relational psychotherapeutic counsellor, I believe the relationship between us is an integral part of the process. Patterns that shape your life and relationships may gently emerge in our work together, offering us opportunities to understand them with curiosity and compassion, so they can begin to loosen their hold.
I have supported clients from many backgrounds, facing a wide range of struggles such as anxiety, depression, suicidality, and the lasting impact of difficult early relationships and complex-trauma.
I understand how important it is for you to feel safe and able to trust I will not judge you for what you share, and I appreciate this may take some time to develop. I aim to create and foster a space in which all of you feels welcome - the light, the dark, and everything in between - at a pace that feels right for you.
