Hello I am Jen.
I understand that finding an experienced therapist who is the right fit for you can feel like an overwhelming task and deciding to embrace therapy can be a big decision.
I work as a qualified integrative counsellor/psychotherapist who prioritises the value of the therapeutic relationship. There is a huge amount of evidence to attribute successful therapy to the trusted relationship between the client and counsellor.
You are worthy of an unbiased, safe and productive opportunity to process your experiences and I believe that everyone should experience feeling heard, seen and valued for who they are. I provide an opportunity to explore personal difficulties in a confidential, supportive and non-judgmental environment.
In our initial session I will help support you determine if my approach and way of working is the right fit for you.
Counselling can include expressing painful feelings, which many of us experience at certain times in our lives. Working together in therapy can help provide the confidence and tools you need to better your quality of life. Addressing the emotional and physical issues you face and providing tools to understand and work through them in therapy can assist in improving relationships with friends, family and colleagues.
Therapy allows accessing support at a time and in a place which is convenient for you. I work with a wide range of issues with modalities that best suit you and the experiences unique to you.
I have worked in the NHS for 14 years developing support services for patients. I am a dementia and domestic abuse champion and part of the equality and diversity group within the NHS. I hold an advanced DBS as well as certificates in safeguarding for vulnerable adults and children.
I specialise in Depression, anxiety, low self esteem, stress, ADHD neurodiversity, relational problems (family issues) grief/loss/bereavement and trauma.
Get in touch and we can collectively work together towards improving your life experience.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I am Jen,
Are you noticing your mood feeling increasingly low, or your anxiety becoming more difficult to manage? Perhaps the coping strategies that once worked for you no longer feel effective, and life’s challenges are starting to feel overwhelming.
I understand that finding the right therapist can feel daunting, and choosing to begin therapy is a significant step. As an integrative practitioner, I tailor therapy to your individual needs, drawing on a range of evidence-based models and techniques. This flexible approach allows our work together to evolve as your needs change, supporting healing, self-awareness, and personal growth.
I place great importance on the therapeutic relationship. Research consistently shows that a strong, trusting relationship between client and therapist is central to effective therapy. I am committed to providing a professional, ethical, and safe therapeutic environment.
I work frequently with neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and autism. I recognise that neurodiversity can shape how people experience the world, relationships, emotions, and therapy itself.
Everyone deserves a supportive space in which they feel heard, seen, and valued. I offer the opportunity to explore personal difficulties in a compassionate, confidential, and non-judgemental environment
Evening appointments can be available.
I specialise in working with
· Low self esteem and confidence
· Depression and anxiety
· Stress and anger management
· ADHD and Autism (neurodiversity)
· Relationship and family difficulties. Betrayal trauma.
· Menopause
· Trauma and attachment issues
· Burnout and work related stress
· Grief, loss and bereavement
· Supporting mental health alongside disability and chronic or acute conditions.
Alongside my private practice, I have over 15 years’ experience working within the NHS, where I have developed patient support services. Working as a dementia and domestic abuse champion.
