About me and my therapy practice

Something has brought you here, perhaps a sense that things aren't quite right, or that you've been carrying something heavy for too long. Whatever it is, you don't have to figure it out alone.

I'm an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, which means I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw on a range of evidence-based therapies, including person-centred, psychodynamic, CBT and mindfulness, tailoring everything to what feels right for you. Some people need space to talk and be heard. Others want practical tools to manage anxiety or stress. Many need both. Together, we'll find what works.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that real change happens within a relationship built on trust, safety, and genuine understanding. You'll never be judged here. Whatever you bring,  however messy, painful, or hard to put into words, I'll hold it with care.

We'll work collaboratively at every step, regularly reviewing where you are and adjusting our approach as you grow. You stay in control throughout.

Life throws a lot at us. I support people through a wide range of challenges, including:

Anxiety, stress, depression and panic

Trauma and PTSD

Bereavement and loss

Relationship and family difficulties

Addiction and alcohol dependency

Abuse and self-harm

ADHD, autism and neurodiversity

Identity, self-esteem and life transitions

And much more, if you're unsure whether I can help, just ask

Practice description

I work from a private, calm practice room in Charing Cross, Glasgow, and also offer online sessions via Zoom, so geography is no barrier.

We typically start with an initial block of six sessions, reviewing together as we approach that point to decide the best way forward. There's no pressure and no rigid timeline, your needs lead the way.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation, a no-obligation chance to ask questions, get a feel for how I work, and decide if we're a good fit. Our first full session will be a relaxed, in-depth conversation to understand what's brought you to therapy and what you'd like to get from it.

Taking that first step can feel daunting. But reaching out is often the most important thing you'll ever do for yourself.

I'd love to hear from you.
