About me and my therapy practice

About me and my therapy practice
Do you ever feel like life is just a bit too much? Perhaps you’re living with ADHD and no matter how much effort you put in, routines never seem to stick. You tell yourself you will eat better, get to bed earlier, or finally get organised but somehow things slip back to how they were. You might find yourself constantly tired, overthinking everything, and feeling anxious even about small tasks.
Maybe you are dealing with work pressure, struggling to set boundaries, or noticing patterns in your relationships that leave you feeling drained. It can seem as though everyone else has it together while you are stuck in a loop of self-criticism, people-pleasing, and never feeling quite good enough. It’s lonely, exhausting and discouraging but you are not failing. You are simply wired differently.
Therapy can help you discover rhythms that fit you. It can be a space to pause, let your guard down, and reconnect with the parts of you that want calm, balance, and ease. Together, we can explore what’s beneath the stress and self-doubt and find gentler, more sustainable ways to cope and thrive.
I specialise in supporting people with ADHD, anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, and self-doubt. I offer a compassionate, relaxed space where you don’t have to mask or explain yourself. My aim is to help you feel less overwhelmed, more self-assured, and more connected to what really matters to you.
As a neurodivergent counsellor, I understand what it’s like to live with a busy, fast-moving mind. My approach is warm, collaborative, tailored to you and flexible enough to adapt as your needs evolve. You don’t need to have it all together; therapy is where you can simply show up as you are.
I work online and in person (including walk-and-talk sessions in the IP16 area), so you can choose what suits you best.
If you’re ready to feel more like yourself again, get in touch.

About me and my therapy practice
Are you finding yourself feeling lost, overwhelmed, or in a constant state of fear and panic? Do you desperately want to feel accepted, appreciated, and feel like you belong? I understand how it feels to be at a constant war with yourself, battling your inner critic and never feeling good enough.
I’m not a “just think positive” kind of therapist. I believe in real conversations, real strategies, and therapy that actually makes a difference in your life. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and tailored to you because no two minds work the same way.
Anxiety can feel debilitating, intense, and unfortunately so often misunderstood. You can feel so alone in your suffering because on the outside you seem to have it all together. Anxiety can negatively impact your relationship, your work, your studies and day-to-day life. If you feel like this is you, I invite you to reach out and schedule the session. You don't have to face these difficulties alone. I am here to help you navigate your personal challenges and work towards a happier and healthier life.
As a neurodivergent counsellor, I specialise in working with neurodiverse individuals, offering a unique and empathetic perspective on their experiences. I understand the diverse ways neurodivergence can impact life and provide a space where clients can explore their identity, challenges, and strengths with someone who truly understands their neurodiversity. My approach is collaborative and supportive, helping clients embrace their differences and navigate life with confidence and self-compassion.

About me and my therapy practice
Does life feel like an endless cycle of anxiety, overthinking, perfectionism, and that nagging inner critic? If your brain feels like it never switches off, constantly overanalysing, second-guessing, and running through worst-case scenarios you’re not alone. I work with people who seem calm and capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck in self-doubt underneath it all. I’m here to help you cut through the clutter, find a bit of humour in the madness, and develop practical ways to navigate life’s challenges.
Walk and Talk Therapy (Sizewell beach)
Prefer to move while you talk? Walk and talk therapy combines the benefits of nature and movement with counselling, making it easier to process emotions and reduce stress. Ideal for those who feel more comfortable talking side by side rather than face-to-face.
What I Specialise In
• Anxiety & Overthinking: Together, we’ll break the cycle of endless “what ifs” and create strategies to help you reclaim your calm.
• Perfectionism & Inner Critic: We’ll address that relentless inner voice, replacing its harsh criticisms with techniques that celebrate your authentic self.
• Self-Esteem: Cultivate a robust sense of self-worth that isn’t reliant on external validation.
• Neurodivergence: Whether you’re managing ADHD, autism, or another unique way your mind works, we’ll tailor strategies that truly work for you.

About me and my therapy practice
Do you feel like your mind never switches off? Maybe you’re stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, or anxiety, constantly second-guessing yourself and feeling overwhelmed by perfectionism or people-pleasing. You might be a neurodivergent adult (diagnosed or self-identified with ADHD or autism) feeling burnt out from masking or trying to meet impossible standards.
I’m Karolina, a qualified online counsellor offering therapy across the UK. I specialise in helping adults break free from anxiety, perfectionism, overthinking, and self-criticism, so you can feel calmer, more confident, and in control.
You don’t have to figure this out alone and therapy can be a supportive space to help you finally breathe, reconnect with yourself, and live more fully.
My Approach:
My approach is warm, validating, and grounded in the belief that you are not broken but your mind has simply developed patterns to protect you that may no longer serve you.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): practical, evidence-based strategies to help you challenge anxiety and self-doubt.
Support for Neurodivergent Clients (like ADHD/Autism): understand masking, sensory overload, and perfectionism through a neuro-affirming lens.
I tailor every session to your unique needs—whether you're dealing with anxiety, low self-esteem, overthinking, burnout, or feeling stuck in life.

✔️ Anxiety therapy
✔️ Perfectionism and overthinking support

About me and my therapy practice
You might be feeling stuck in a cycle with food, body image, or self-worth and it’s exhausting. Maybe you have tried to “fix” things with willpower, rules, or routines, but nothing seems to stick. Or maybe food has become a way of coping with anxiety, overwhelm, or masking your feelings. If you are neurodivergent (ADHD, autism, or both), you may notice that eating patterns and anxiety feel even more tangled, leaving you frustrated, ashamed, or out of control.
I offer a space where you don’t have to hide or pretend. Together we can gently explore what is behind your eating struggles and the anxiety that often fuels them. I won’t tell you what to eat or judge your choices but instead, I will help you understand your patterns, your needs, and what actually works for you.
Clients I work with often describe themselves as sensitive, self-critical, or “always overthinking.” They want freedom from the constant battles with food, the anxious thoughts that spiral, and the pressure to be “fine” on the outside. In our sessions, we will look at how anxiety shows up in your body and mind, how being neurodivergent may shape your relationship with food, and how to build healthier, kinder ways to cope.
My approach is gentle but practical by blending person-centred counselling with tools from CBT and ADHD-informed strategies. I work at your pace, creating a non-judgemental space where you can feel safe enough to untangle the shame, quiet the inner critic, and start finding balance with food, yourself, and your emotions.
Practice description
My Approach
My way of working combines practical tools with empathy and understanding. I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, including:
Person-Centred Therapy – Providing a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – Helping you notice and reframe unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour.
Self-Compassion and Mindfulness – Encouraging a kinder relationship with yourself and more balance in everyday life.
Practical ADHD and Anxiety Strategies – Building structure, managing overthinking, and reducing overwhelm in realistic ways.
I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we’ll explore what genuinely helps you — combining reflection, self-awareness, and small, manageable changes that make life feel lighter.
My first session
I offer a discounted first session (£30) so you can get a feel for what working together is like with no pressure to commit. This is a gentle space to talk things through and explore if therapy might be a helpful next step.
